Congrats to all the winners! Sorry I wasn't able to attend the full show last night, and even though I was '96ed, in the words of a wise musical queen what can you do? I can never be disappointed again, and I know everyone says this- but I truly wasn't expecting to win

The rest of the award show was so amazing to me and I can't wait for next year's award show hosted by the fabulous McBeth. Thanks for making the lambily awards such a great night for all of our ATRL lambily! We truly appreciate you.

I don't have any good feelings about a residency in Vegas and I don't think she's going to do it. Or is she?

Can you imagine Mariah moving to Las Vegas? Well, I can't. Moving and obligating herself to perform every single night is not something she would do. Performing would be too much of a liability for her then I suppose. I think the annual Christmas concerts are more the kind of "residency" that suits her and her family situation.

Exactly why I am not sure how to feel about this. I mean, it's a nice deal for Mariah after all the bad things she went through last year, in a way, this could be a fresh start for her and inspire her.

I can't help but to think that since Vegas is typically exclusive, it would mean that Mariah would not be able to perform elsewhere but wasn't the Beacon supposed to be an annual thing?

Also, I know a lot of international fans would want her to come to Europe or other places so hopefully she gets to tour worldwide before she is doing this deal.

Maybe she will just be filling in for Celine until she's ready to perform again? Or it could be a full blown residency. We don't know anything yet.

But honestly, if Mariah is happy, then I'm happy. She deserves to be happy!

Ideally for me, it would give her coins to budget and properly PROMOTE her next era!

In reality it probably serves as a nice distraction from the divorce and bad press, as well as keeping Nick away from Dem Babies.

This is one of my favorite vocal performances by Mariah ever. The slow build up from the beginning, the way she sings that climax at the bridge, ugh. And then at the final chorus when she sing "I will love you till the eeee-ee-eee-e-eeeeee-eeend of" and it all boils down with that last run before she picks it up again with "time"
