I really tried to, too. I mean, Super Junior, BTS, BEAST, VIXX, SHINee… I've really tried, but they can't appeal to me like girl groups do… I'll even listen to solo males more than them…
That's understandable, and at least you tried. I'm the same way with girl groups actually. Its all up to preference so there's no reason to feel bad or anything.
what happenned to the music not the bling sistren. I thought Charts didn't matter yet here you all swooping on them numbers arent you. Smfh. Let the light in. BUt for real where is Miss A on that list???

I will admit that EXO & TVXQ have been the only boy bands that catch me in a way… I really enjoy that type of style. It's not too hip-hop, it's not too cutesy, it's not too in your face, it's like right on the cusp of all three…
Vote for me in 11 months sis...QM Messiest member 2015
BASE seems like a solid album wish there was more sonic changes and it seems like SM made a huge mistake by choosing the weakest track as the title agaiin.

And Overdose + Something were two of the best songs of 2014 so I don't blame you
KPOP NIGHT OUT SXSW PERFORMERS Your chance to see this artists if you live in the US (Texas)
This March, Hitchhiker, Epik High, Crayon Pop, The Barberettes, Asian Chairshot, EE and Eastern Sidekick will make the trip from Seoul. Once again, you’ll find your perception of Korean music challenged with the most engaging KPNO lineup yet.
Until recently, Choi Jin-woo was known as one of K-Pop’s top hit-makers as a producer, songwriter and remixer for Korean superstars such as Girl’s Generation, G-Dragon, EXO and SXSW alumni act f(x). Now the tables have turned with his new project Hitchhiker, a worldwide YouTube phenomena that’s thrust him into the spotlight with the amazingly bizarre “11” video and its accompanying polarizing earworm of a track. Seriously, just watch it. This will be Hitchhiker’s debut live performance.
Seoul’s Epik High are often credited as bringing hip-hop to the mainstream in Korea, and will be making their first SXSW appearance, supporting their eighth album, Shoebox, while K-Pop girl group Crayon Pop return to the US with their signature helmets and “Bar Bar Bar” dance in tow after touring with Lady Gaga on her Artpop tour.

What girl groups do you like?
Well, I am partial to f(x) & Orange Caramel… but I've recently started getting into Nine Muses like crazy. I really didn't realize I liked every song after "Figaro" they made. I mean, I've been listening to SNSD, but their Korean stuff after HOOT does not hold a candle to their Japanese albums… Nine Muses kinda fills the void that SNSD doesn't seem to fill for me… it's too bad they can't perform live well… Oh, and after I heard "Sugar Free", I've been obsessed with T-ara and started listening to their older songs… If it hadn't been for that stupid controversy, they'd be top tier right now in my eyes (which is what I say about Jaebeom!)
As a list:
f(x)
Orange Caramel
Nine Muses
SJJD
miss A
T-ara
I've also been doing much better at identifying members in these groups as well… you're gonna have to give me a few with Nine Muses though since they keep on deleting and replacing members…
Another thing I have to point out… I saw the "GIRLS' GENERATION: THE BEST" concert and I literally cried my eyes out watching the final performance. It was the first moment I felt was super genuine emotion from (almost) everyone…

Try Infinite...they have 80s japanese synthpop influence in their music, maybe you'll like it

They are one of the boy bands I haven't tried but actually wanted to listen to… I'm doing a catch-up of all the K-Pop I've missed out on over the years (listening to old BoA, KARA, getting into the duets of artists) so I'll put them on the list of listens. I found out that one of my favorite K-Pop songs was a old Super Junior song called Galjeung, so who knows what I might find in my excursions!

OMG YES, their discography is PERFECT. And basically everyone in this thread can agree with you on that!
I also recommend Dalshabet if you haven't gotten into them yet. I love them so much, and they're lovable as well. They have a show called Dalshabet On Air and it made them the first GG I ever really "stanned". (asdfghjkl you'll get the hang of it with them sooner or later )
How long have you been getting into groups for?

Oh, yeah, Dal★shabet… I listened to one of their recent songs, "B.B.B. (Big Baby Baby)" and was kinda taken aback by how much it sounds like something KARA would've jumped on, but then I saw that it was their 7th Mini Album which means I at least have 6 other songs to listen to to get a good feeling on who they are…
To be honest, my first run it with a K-Pop girl group was Wonder Girls with "Tell Me" when I didn't pay it much mind on remember who was which. Then I saw "Abracadabra" and was so interested in knowing who each of these girls were (not knowing there were only four…). So, that finally lead me to SNSD with "Genie"… and I started listening to K-Pop and understanding each girl for each group more intently… Now I can recognize almost every member by name for most of the girl groups I listen to… (aside from Nine Muses since my fave left…)
