Nope.

Sales are separate and SPS (sales plus streams) is just Billboard 200-only.

RIAA doesn't even acknowledge SPS... They just go based off of shipments and it's looking like they'll never acknowledge it or incorporate it into the album certifications. It'd make the entire process slightly more complicated.

Yeah when she gets the platinum cert it will be due to 1M shipped albums not including streaming or double counted track equivalents.

And I don't think people realize that. TP gonna pull a ME and more than likely be around 500k-600k when they give it a platinum certification. Hopefully anyway.

I think so as well.
I think people will see the difference between releasing 9 singles during the PFRRTRU era where she was enduring backlash vs

releasing 8/9 singles when people are more receptive.

I think this will do about 900k at min long term but will be certified around 500'600k as you said.

That's the main issue I have with the new methodology.
I don't mind them assuming that streams can equal an album but tracks too???

it's like double counting and when certs don't add up to actual sales it's just goofy and weird.

That's why we had a few stans all excited abouyt 500kish sales and asking about gold certifications when it's not based on actual the way RIAA certifies

I sure hope they adjust it to only include SEAs but for now it's helped TPP not only peak at #2 when otherwise it would have been #3 but also stay at #2 when it was what #3/4 in actual sales.

It's benefited her so far.

I swore that Only would benefit and hit top 10 yet it's still #15 for whatever reason

I think Feeling Myself will be huge, on all formats. I hope she doesn't wait too long with releasing it, since it's doing so good now on the radio and hopefully it'll boost the album sales a bit.
