Forget about the hot 100
Taylor swift has now spent at least 1 week on top of the billboard 200 every year since 2008.
Nobody has done that on the hot 100.
Uptown Funk is such an annoying song. Literally. But i honestly didn't expect Blank Space to have this much longevity. It got old so fast so it did pretty great.

"SIO" is clearly the song that sticks with you for longer. "BS" is the kind of song you fawn over for a month or two but once you get sick of it.... you really are sick of it.
Its out of my top 5 from the album now. Was in top 3 initially.
7 weeks at #1 for a song which is not available on spotify is really impressive
as their Woman of The Year, I wonder why Billboard doesnt help her to cut streaming points to value the music as Taylor said
Don't be too dismayed that BS is now off the top of the Hot 100. I will instead be really happy that the song has helped Taylor gain a lot of new fans. It (and SIO) have both been instrumental in altering the general media's reporting of Taylor compared to last year. The GP seem to have a lot of love for Taylor now and BS played it's part in that.
Also it did sell almost another 300k last week which is amazing by itself. BS sold 800k in the US over the last 2 weeks. Just goes to show how quickly the song is selling. Now up to about 2.8 million sales in only 10 weeks. Selling 280k a week on average is pretty incredible. Will be on 3 million next week!
SIO also must be above 3.6 million sales now too, and still selling loads, will be at 4 million by the Grammys!
The fact that she has sold approaching a combined 6.4 million copies of just the first 2 singles so far in the US alone, is amazing especially when she has also sold > 3.8 million copies of the album there too.
