when Beyoncé paid hommage to Lauryn & Mary J Blige @ BET Awards..
it wasn't random. she exactly continued their work by mixing effortlessly Rap R&B Soul.
That ain't nothing but the truth tho. People on here love to grasp at any and every thing to attempt to discredit her as if there is nothing behind the incredible levels of praise and respect she gets from other musicians and the media. Her influence is massive with just the rap/rhythmic singing alone, it's just not one of those in-your-face things like things based on visuals and takes a little more thought than a couple of side by side photos or screen shots so people aren't as aware of it which is ironic because it's actually one of the biggest parts of her legacy as a singer and a huge contribution to modern music.
I don't like how the OTRT special was edited to make it seem like the crowd was more hype for jay than Bey.the crowd was loud as hell in the videos I watched online...

So , the 50 SOG soundtrack is shaping up to be real good (The Weeknd's Earned It, Ellie Goulding's Love Me Like You Do, and ofc Bey's Haunted and CIL). I'm really hoping the movie will be good, 'cause I don't want Bey to be linked to trash
