Miley Cyrus on Alan Carr: Chatty Man
with performance

After the pop icon and queen Miley Cyrus performed at the MMA’s and American Idol, the pop starlet traveled to the United Kingdom yesterday for a heavy promo schedule in Europe.
Miley Cyrus drank vodka as she was interview by Alan Carr:
Alan Carr: What does D.U.I. really mean?
Miley Cyrus: You know, really it’s not about drinking alcohol or about partying or about anything of that nature. It’s about the love I have for music and how I’m obsessed with it and a lot of people think the songs is about partying and clubbing but it’s really none of that it actually has a meaning and that is that I love, love music.
Alan Carr: When you say songs about partying and clubbing, give me an example.
Miley Cyrus: Well, I can’t really give you an example because then people would take it as me belittling the song and stuff but I think song, even the songs about partying and clubbing, have a purpose.
Alan Carr: That’s interesting, you also have had party songs and that, like We Can’t Stop.
Miley Cyrus: Yeah, exactly, that song is for me about my life at that moment and it’s for the people to enjoy it at the clubs and whatnot.
Alan Carr: Do you really do drugs?
Miley Cyrus: Haven’t you seen the EMA’s like last year? I mean two years ago since we’re in 2015?
Alan Carr: Where you smoked a joint? yeah I heard about that. Drugs is bad for you Miley!
Miley Cyrus: Don’t worry alan, I watch myself. *winks*
Alan Carr: [laughs] No, okay seriously. Your new album, tell us about that.
Miley Cyrus: My new album has been a spiritual journey for me, I have taken it very seriously and I wanted to deliver my very best. I studied the history of music because I really liked how you know in music everything is harmonized and in sync so I was really fascinated and I have studied you know, Beethoven, mozart and you know classic music like that and they really have inspired me.
Alan Carr: Is Miley Cyrus doing classic music?
Miley Cyrus: [laughs] Haha, not specifically, I was really just inspired by that and you’re going to hear some stuff influence by classic music but they’re, you know, for my fans to enjoy. and there’s really amazing stuff on the album like, new production elements and things like that.
Alan Carr: You’re so unpredictable, I like that!
Miley Cyrus: Hehe, thanks. *winks*
Alan Carr: Stop winking at me!
Alan Carr: Are there any collaborations?
Miley Cyrus: I don’t know, I can’t tell you that, sorry!
Alan Carr: Aww, when is your album coming out and have you decided on a name yet?
Miley Cyrus: The title, we narrowed that down to four titles and we’re working on them and see what is best so we don’t know. The album is probably going to be out sooner than you think.
Alan Carr: Exciting! Now it’s time for you to go to the stage and sing the amazing D.U.I.! Here is Miley Cyrus with “D.U.I.”
Miley Cyrus performs “D.U.I.” for the audience and then Alan Carr says the song is available on iTunes.
Miley Cyrus’ single ‘D.U.I.’ is out on iTunes right now along with the remix ‘D.U.I. (featuring Dev)’ and the video is available for streaming on Youtube & VEVO.

TAYLOR SWIFT X BRIT AWARDS
The release of Taylor Swift’s first ever greatest hits album occurred this past weekend on Saturday night where the album would immediately shipped out from Target warehouses to those who’ve pre-ordered the album in days of advance. Originally planned for release a week prior to this one, Tigerlily Recordings decided to push the album back a week due to problems and difficulties in producing enough coupes of the album first week to meet the demand of pre-orders. “We were intentionally at first only planning to make about eight hundred thousand copies of the album first week to Target stores but because of the demand we needed an extra week and decided to ship over one million copies of the album to stores nationwide. For a more accurate number, we’ve shifted over one million and four hundred thousand copies to stores.”
This would be the case just for the United States as in other countries the album would be made available for purchase in a different retailer. This retailer would be none other than major digital retailer iTunes. “We had to make the album internationally an iTunes exclusive as really outside of the United States Target isn’t a retailer that’s really launched itself on a global scale just yet. So that being the case we managed to score a deal with iTunes worldwide to really help their market in other countries beside the United States where most of their sales come from. So that being said we made it available globally for purchase on iTunes, really boosting sales in Japan, Korea, etcetera. But knowing the fans would most likely be disappointed if they were not able to get a physical copy of the album, we made it available online at Taylor’s website for a limited time price and shipping. In just over a day, it’ll leave one of the Taylor’s warehouses and will arrive within the next day for them. The reasoning behind this is really to help boost physical sales Stateside and help the digital market in others.” Taylor’s label head Lilliana Foxx told the press in a press release both she and Taylor would be present in.
The singer-songwriter would continue her album promotional campaign by stopping in Europe on Monday morning and would spend an entire two days in the city of London where she recently purchased a home for a little over twenty million dollars in United States currency. On her final day in the city before heading to Japan, the American pop star would be performing at the BRIT Awards where she would take home the award for Best Single for ‘Gunshots’ with Zendaya who was there to accept it with Taylor along with the title for Best International Artist. Taylor would then finish the night off by performing her brand new single ‘Style’, a song that went number one this past week globally and in the United Kingdom. Before going on stage, Taylor would give a short interview with the BRIT about her wins, where Zendaya would join her. The interview was given right after they accepted the award for best single.
“Coming here tonight, I wasn’t really expecting a win. The competition has been so great and really just forceful this year so when they called us up there, I was thrilled. I remember Zendaya was beside me and just literally just jumped in my arms when they called ‘Gunshots’.” Taylor would say to the interview before Zendaya would speak, smiling at her friend and collaborator. “It’s my first ever BRIT award so I was like in tears. You know when I asked Taylor to be on the song with me, I was really surprised she said yes. I’m so thankful she did because she really helped me give my career that kick it needed to really launch myself as a full on top tier pop star. I mean she gave me my first number one, now my first BRIT award. She’s amazing and I want to congratulate her on the other awards she won tonight along with the final one which I think she’ll take home too.” Taylor would smile at her friend while she spoke, tearing up slightly in her beautiful gown as she would then hug the younger pop star and her friend before the two would do some more small and brief interviews with magazines and such before the two would separate ways, Zendaya going to go take her seat again and Taylor having to get changed for her performances.
Taylor would then be introduced to the stage after the award or Best Album would be given out. She was introduced by no one other than the gorgeous Leona Leona who was decked out in a gorgeous black dress. “Although she’s titled as America’s Sweetheart, she’s had no problem scoring almost ten number one singles around the globe or capturing our heart’s either. Everyone please welcome to the stage, the biggest female in music right now, the beautiful and talented, Taylor Swift!” The lighting would change as the camera would pan to center stage where boxes would begin lighting from the bottom up in an ascending order. The colors were black and white as they’d light up in a patterned order, the boxes stacked almost in a cubic way in a pyramid formation.
Taylor would appear at the top of them in a black lace ensemble that showed off her slim but slightly curvaceous figure. She’d lean against the tube and slightly grind against it, dipping to the floor slightly as she looked sedutctively into the camera during the first verse of the song. The performance’s setting was absolutely gorgeous and was very similar to her other high and bigger production performances of the song but this time it was slightly different as it would feature an instrumental part where Taylor and her dancers would strut down the catwalk that extended almost hundred yards into the O2 arena with her dancers before belting out the bridge.Taylor hitting ad-libs while her female dancers danced in their high fashion British influences stage outfits. She’d then head into second part of the performance of her two promotional singles ‘Harvard Smiles’ and ‘Lipstick on His Collar’. The performance was hailed as the best of the night as well. Swift’s Greatest Hits album, ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’ is available on iTunes now along with on her site (TaylorSwift.com)

Cara Delevingne for Pepsi
511 Words
After British Airways launched a worldwide major promotional campaign with Cara Delevingne which demonstrated some considerable success, Cara Delevingne was asked by Pepsi to be featured in a commercial for the wordwide brand along with multiple other things concerning the deal, such as appearing on all the pepsi cans. The deal was sealed only 2 days ago but Cara Delevingne managed to quickly film a commercial for the brand within few hours and got into a photoshoot which will be used for the cans and the billboards that are being bought by the company on which advertisements featuring Cara's face (and even the 'Distant Horizon' album cover on the side).
The commercial starts off by showing Cara during her daily life, going into the studio, performing on different stages on TV, doing radio interview, walking on the runway, this part is composed of clips which were filmed of her during her previous tour and her current promotional appearances. 'La Belle' is playing in the background while Cara's voice can be heard in the background: "I've come to realise that everything I did so far is amazing. It seems exhausting but I think I need to live everyday as if it was the last day on earth, I need to live for the moment. Live For NOW." At this moment Cara is shown walking into a hotel out of her limousine while fans and paparazzi attack her and Cara looked a little bit exhausted, a little bit like Britney Spears in the 'Everytime' music video. When Cara reaches the hotel room, she takes a Pepsi can which was on a table, opens it and drink it all, before looking relaxed again. "Pepsi helps me go through the hard times and helps me live for now. You should try it, it works!" she finally adds, before the commercial switches to the Pepsi logo, before showing the 'Distant Horizon' album cover on screen.
The multi-million deal also features a full length concert sponsored by Pepsi in the middle of Times Square which will be held in a few days. The concert will be heavily promoted by Pepsi, in addition to the promotion it's already giving Cara Delevingne through the commercial, the new pepsi cans featuring Cara Delevingne on them, the billboards and the advertisements. But in addition to that, Pepsi is giving their clients huge discounts on Cara's music: On every single can is a ITunes code that can be entered in ITunes which will automatically download 'La Belle' and those count as sales as Pepsi pays for every single download. Every pack of pepsi cans also lowers the album 'Distant Horizon''s price from the original price to only 7.99$ for the standard and 9.99$ for the deluxe, both on ITunes. Pepsi is present nearly everywhere around the world and with the impressive amount of commercials sales for the company are set to increase impressively and with them the amount of redeemed codes is going to be immense, bringing in amazing sales for 'La Belle' and making the 'Distant Horizon' sales rise even more.

Miley Cyrus performs at BBC Radio 1 - Live Lounge

On January 6, American singer-songwriter-performance-producer-icon Miley Cyrus dropped by the radio station BBC Radio 1 and sang six songs, including her smash hit single “D.U.I.” It took place at the station’s Live Lounge, which most artist perform in, and they posted a video of the performances on the station’s official YouTube channel where people from all around the world can stream and watch Miley Cyrus perform the songs live.
At the setup, Miley Cyrus performed the songs with two acoustic guitar players, a pianist with a grand piano and a electric piano specifically added for Wrecking Ball, a cello player, and two back-up singers. She was on the air to promote her most recent hit single, D.U.I., which was released December 26, 2014 via Rebuilt Records after a demo version of the track leaked a day earlier. In just a day, the video of Miley Cyrus singing “D.U.I.” has been viewed over over one million times.
Miley Cyrus went to BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge in midst of a heavy promotional schedule on the United Kingdom. She first visited Alan Carr: Chatty Man where she also performed her new hot single.
The pop singer sang four of her own songs with two additional covers of Sky Ferreira and Fergie. “Traces” was a song included in Sky Ferreira’s EP “As If” released in 2011, and “Losing My Ground” was a song from Fergie’s debut album “The Dutchess” released in 2006. Both songs were covered by Miley Cyrus on the session.
Miley Cyrus strips both songs off of their production beats the originals have and instead croons along to the tune with sparse instrumentation. Some acoustic guitars and back-up singers back Miley Cyrus as she lays down her countrified vocals on the covers.
Along with the two covers, Miley Cyrus covered three songs from her number one album, Bangerz, which was release in late october, the hit singles she performed were “We Can’t Stop,” which peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, "Wrecking Ball,” which went to number one and “Adore You.” All the songs were sang by Miley Cyrus as two guitarist strumming on the acoustic guitars, two backup singers harmonizing with her and a pianist playing a grand piano on the lounge. Wrecking Ball had an electric piano instead of the grand piano to simulate the original instrumental’s riff.
The pop starlet also sang her most recent hit, “D.U.I.,” as it was the first on the setlist, the single debuted at number six with sales of 388,000, a significant jump from her first week sales of her past lead single, We Can't Stop, which shifted around 214,000 digital downloads on it's first week. The performance of "D.U.I." turned the song into a chilled-down version similar to the performance of Jessica Lange on FOX’s hit TV show American Horror Story: Freak Show where Miley Cyrus appeared in.
All performances, including the two covers, are available on BBC Radio 1's Youtube channel.
Miley Cyrus’ single ‘D.U.I.’ is out on iTunes right now along with the remix ‘D.U.I. (featuring Dev)’ and the video is available for streaming on Youtube & VEVO.

NATALIA KILLS PLAYS LOVE INTEREST IN ED SHEERAN’S NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR “ONE”
542 words

Natalia Kills has been a very busy woman as of late and sometimes it’s hard to keep tabs on what she has done or where she has been. That is why when Ed Sheeran surprisingly dropped his new music video for “One” this evening, every Natalia fan was shocked to see her playing the helpful and loving love interest to a very drunk Ed Sheeran. A surprising interview immediately accompanied the music video on Ed’s Youtube channel. It was definitely pre-taped because Natalia just made an appearance at a One Direction concert this evening. Details about everything below:
MUSIC VIDEO (NATALIA’S SCENES):
Natalia plays Ed Sheeran’s sweet loving girlfriend in the video for “One”. The video opens with her waking up in the morning to cook Ed Sheeran breakfast while wearing his shirt. As soon as Ed comes out of the room obviously hungover, she runs up to meet him but he pushes her away leaving Natalia shocked and disappointed. She points to food she made him and seems to be talking very excitedly but Ed cuts her off, shakes his head to signify that he will not be eating, and then proceeds to take his car keys and leaves the house. Natalia stands there with her head hung low and sad.
The next time we see Natalia in the music video is when she is calling Ed to check up on him and where he is, but Ed looks at the caller ID and puts the phone back in his pocket leaving Natalia devastated and sad.
The final scene where we see Natalia is after Ed has had one too many drinks and leaves the bar without friends. He gets hit by a moving car and ends up in the hospital. Where we see Natalia is at the end when she comes into meet him and is the only person there in the room with him, none of his friends, none of his family, just her!
THE INTERVIEW:
Ed: I think I have never really had a music video where I was telling a story and was directly involved. It was always someone playing me or a puppet or something. But when I had the idea for this music video, I just knew Natalia had to be in it because she’s one of those people who has actually been with me right from the start.
Natalia: I remember hearing the song and thinking oh wow! What a beautiful song, I remember I literally cried the first time I heard the song. So when Ed called me up and told me he would like me to be in the video, I felt really honored and when I read the treatment I instantly fell in love. I think fans will be really surprised to see me this vulnerable. It’s such a beautifully shot music video.
Natalia: I actually met Ed 2 years ago through Taylor. I was opening up for her and we just crossed paths and we were both big fans of each other’s work and we just had a very quick bonding moment. It’s been 2 years now and we are still going really really strong. I’m happy.

TAYLOR SWIFT X VH1 STORYTELLERS
The release of Taylor Swift’s first ever greatest hits album has caused much stir in the music industry as the album has already been soaring to new heights, becoming the highest selling album physically wise in quite some time. In the first forty eight hours, we hear the album’s already sold over two hundred thousand copies, making it one of the fastest selling albums not only physically but overall this year. With a huge promotional campaign to support and promote the album, sales seem to be on nothing but an upward spiral as Taylor Swift’s second ever VH1 Storytellers special airs tonight on VH1 at 8 PM / 7 PM central. “I’m so excited to finally get back on the VH1 Storytellers stage. As a singer-songwriter it’s one of those concert specials… it’s one of those concert specials that you sort’ve have to do. It’s one of the concert specials you love to do. Because instead of having time restrictions, you get to just perform for the audience. You get to tell them about the song before you perform it. I think-I think by doing that it really gives the audience a whole different perspective on the songs your singing. It opens up a whole new world to them, really. I feel like it gives them better detail, better imagery, it really brings the song, the universe it’s broadcasting into almost reality. That’s what I love about doing Vh1 Storytellers. Everything’s free. Nothing’s held back. It’s every singer-songwriter’s dream.”
The singer-songwriter would arrive in the beautiful London England earlier today to film the television special, arriving in a very almost witch inspired outfit as she signed just a few autographs along with a few pictures taken with fans before heading into the studio, stating that she was running late and that she’d stop by again on her way out. Fans were understanding but still screamed for the singer as she headed into the building of the studio but not before waving at the crowd before heading into the studio.
She’d get ready for the concert for the next hour or so, getting her makeup done along with her stage costumes and such. She wore three different dresses at the concert. One being a short black dress that puffed out at the ends with some knee high black socks with some black heel boots (similar to the outfit Madison Montgomery wore when performing the seven wonders). Swift stated on Twitter that she was the inspiration behind the stage outfit. Other outfits included a white ensemble that served as a crop top and bottom piece although it had an almost belt kind of piece connecting the two together. The other outfit was a full on gown that Swift looked gorgeous in.
The songs performed at the concert varied from her different albums but the first song Taylor would perform would be her indie driven pop hit ‘Nylon’, a Jack Antonoff produced song that was recorded back in 2013 for her album All At Once which turned out to be a a more folk country isn record rather than an indie pop record. “This song I recorded which seems like forever ago. But I had to put it on the greatest hits record because after what I’d gone through the years prior I’d really gotten stronger. Thankfully I did because it made me realize so much in life. It made me realize that all the pain in life. All the things we go through… they make us stronger and into the person we need to me. So I remember during this record I was really reminiscing on the past. I should’t have… I should’ve been embracing the single life then. And I eventually did. For awhile at least. And I am now. I’m not giving up my independence up for anyone. Even in a relationship, I’m still free. I’m still the girl I was.”
Other songs performed would be some of Swift’s greatest hits along with her covers off the greatest hits album ‘Hold On’ a Tom Waits cover and a cover of ‘Stand Back’ and ‘Seven Wonders’ by Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks.

Becky G Found!
Earlier today, Becky G was found at a Best Buy in Inglewood. You might ask, why had nobody found her before this? When Becky G went to this Best Buy to by Justin Bieber's greatest hits album, she had accidentally bumped into a display for Avril Lavigne's self titled album. All of the unsold copies of the album tumbled over onto Becky, and when we say all of the unsold copies, we mean THOUSANDS of copies. Becky yelled for help but her screams couldn't be heard from underneath all the copies of such a flop album. She could only hope that someone would find her, but since nobody checks for Avril Lavigne anymore, it almost seemed impossible. Eventually, though, Avril Lavigne herself had came to the Best Buy and made her way to her albums to buy them as she often does to make it look like she's still relevant. After she got at least 80 albums, she could hear the screams from Becky. She looked around the store to see if anyone else was around who could hear it before she remembered that no one has been to Avril's music section since that Alice In Wonderland movie. She started digging into the pile until she found Becky. Avril screamed at the sight of Becky, presumably because she realized Becky would be the end of her career, before running out of the store. Becky crawled out of the pile and left the store. Her family was very happy to have her home, as well as her label.

Barbie Blank's Day With Fans
504 Words

Ever since the release of her lead single, Barbie has been everywhere. Now she is taking a day off to do a special performance and signing for her fans. A video of the event was uploaded on the VEVO YouTube account. The event was held in New York City.
“My truly dedicated and diehard fans are the ones who stuck with me through every single career move, so I decided to take a break and do something special for them. Instead of a ticket, proof of your purchase for my single is needed.” Barbie took selfies with several fans, signed pictures, and let them listen to the studio version of Warpaint. (That part is edited out of the VEVO version, of course.) After interacting with fans, she performed Tech Freak, and covers of multiple songs. Before the performances, she changed into the pink jumpsuit she wore recently on the “Late Show with David Letterman”. She put a lot of energy into all of the performances and interacted with the fans during all of them. She even allowed a little girl on stage to sing a song with her, the young girl had a lot of fun singing with Barbie. (End of VEVO video)
After the performances, food and drink were available for the fans that showed up to the event; Barbie ate also and had conversations with all of the fans that were there for the event.
“The people that took time out of their day to be here, and buy the single deserve me sacrificing my own time to be with them. I am so glad I did, because I had a lot of fun. People are lucky to have fans, they should appreciate them all and sacrifice things for them.”
Ever since the VEVO video of the event went viral, news sites have been calling her generous and that it was very beneficent of her to do this. The video has around 7 million views after 5 hours of being being uploaded. More and more people are seemingly hopping onto the Barbie Blank bandwagon with no intentions of hopping off. But not everyone was impressed. A few people do not think Barbie was being genuine at all and was using her own fans as a publicity stunt for more attention. This was not the case of course, but that didn’t stop the negative accusations from pouring in like rain into a roofless home. Barbie responded to the negativity though.
Her response:
“People just want somebody to try and tear down. Always. If there’s a new star, they’ll like them for a bit and start disliking them. Of course there are still a lot of people there for me, but the negativity still is not necessary. I’m not telling people to change their opinion on me, I’m just suggesting that you really need to find something better to worry about. Your kids, school work, your job, your pet…hell, even your dishes. Just not a singer that genuinely wanted a day with her fans.”

Lopez Tonight was blasting in with ratings and trends all over online tonight as Pop Star Justin Bieber sat down for an interview. The interview was a quick, and funny little time but was enough to give Lopez Tonight it's highest ratings in almost 2 months. Announced last week through Twitter, 'Watch @justinbieber swing by next week!' by George Lopez, the arrival of Bieber in the following week was also advertised on TBS commercials. Justin Bieber previously lit up US Airwaves by appearing on TRL and having a 2 hour special, along with joining David Letterman with an interview on TV the same night. Justin's appearance was around 11:30 p.m., to where George Lopez said 'enough with the news and stuff for now! Let's welcome out Justin Bieber, embarking on new endeavors with his album 'The Collection & More' in stores now'. Justin was welcomed out to immediate applause, to where George started the conversation by asking how his day had been so far, then asking how his fellow fiance Vanessa Hudgens had been. Justin replied, 'We're doing fine, and planning a little vacation soon. Being back on the music scene has got me so busy lately, you just have to plan those breaks when you have the time to keep it sane'. Justin then talked about his new album in stores, to lead George to saying 'So, this new song Memphis is everywhere. I saw it, and I loved it man. I just said... I need to do a version, since I'm such a good performer myself' to the audience laughing. He continued, 'So I recorded me singing to 'Memphis', and additionally doing your choreography to it. I think it's time to show it' to where Justin agreed. The clip of Lopez doing the imitation with scratchy vocals to 'Memphis' appeared, to immediately surprise and make Justin Bieber burst out laughing. The audience was also bursting in laughter, as the clip continued Lopez started to attempt to do his choreography to the song, to where he was also failing badly obviously. George and Justin continued laughing, as to when the clip ended George built up the courage and asked Bieber 'So, seeing me do that well...you think it's time for me to join you on your upcoming tour?'. Justin took a second, then replied '...Yes. I think you're definitely a fit. But don't be tryna outdo me'. Then on a more serious note after everything settled down, Justin continued to talk about his current album + single, and gave some more details on the possible World Tour by saying 'big people are gonna be included! I just know everyone is gonna go crazy once the announcements start to come out'. Overall, Justin Bieber's appearance on Lopez Tonight was a success -- for both sides, garnering good ratings for Lopez and good sales boosts for Mr. Bieber. After that, Justin was moving to Twitter to talk about how he was ready to get to Australia to continue promotion for the week. Justin had planned appearances on Australian Talk Shows + some performances additionally.

Azealia on The Voice

To continue the promotional run of Metamorph and the upcoming album The Dying Stars, Azealia Banks appeared on The Voice where she went to perform the lead single off of the album. The performance was viewed by millions and helped Metamorph rise up to the top iTunes position, also helping The Dying Stars rise in pre-orders. Azealia has a huge era ahead of her and this is only the tip of the iceberg so be prepared for more and more to come. The Voice's head producer called Azealia's appearance on the show amazing and something that really helped end this season of America's favorite talent show. Janet appeared during this performance as well, helping further promotion of the remix single off the latest EP.
Before taking the stage for the performance of Metamorph, Azealia had to land in the beautiful city of Los Angeles where she was hounded by paparazzi wanting to know what Azealia would be doing in the city and all the deets to Azealia in her life. When asked about her performance on The Voice, Azealia said "I am so excited to show my fans what I've been working on. It's a good performance and me and my choreographer, Yanis, have been working day and night to perfect it. You might even see a special guest appear! Who knows! Be sure to watch the performance." When Azealia was then asked about her next single off of the album to be released she said "Well I plan to release my next single as a dual promo single release next week with the album. The two songs I plan on releasing together are Space Oddity as well as my song with Childish Gambino, Fly. The one that is going to be a single though is a secret! You'll have to figure out some time next week. I don't want to reveal everything"
During the performance of Metamorph Azealia wore a pig pink latex jump suit and black leather heels. All of it was designed by Tom Ford specifically for Azealia and Azealia for one night only. Azealia's hair was long and curly in a dramatic and snatched back ponytail. Her makeup was minimal but enough for you to tell she was wearing some. At the top of the performance pink lights shone on the stage as smoke flew from behind Azealia's silhouette looking out at the audience with her hand on hip. Dancers than ran on stage like savages from behind Azealia as she stood out and looked towards the audience with a sense of power and strength. Azealia then adjusted her head mic and emerged from the back and began to come towards the dancers and dance with them. Halfway through the performance, Janet Jackson came out to join Azealia on stage and do her verse. The two of them danced like no other, showing they both have true talent. The performance was a huge success and afterwards a commercial aired advertising Metamorph on iTunes. Be sure to buy Metamorph today as well as pre-order The Dying Stars.

Azealia on Late Night with Seth Meyers

Azealia appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers today to help promote Metamorph and the upcoming album which the song is off of, The Dying Stars. The appearance on Late Night was heavily praised by critics of late night television. Azealia tweeted out to all of her millions of followers days and days beforehand to let them know to tune into the program. Azealia's team went out and promoted Azealia by hanging flyers throughout NYC and Los Angeles to watch the program, including large LED billboards on the road. One thing everyone can say about this era so far, the promotion has been on point. Azealia's team seems to truly care about the outcome of how everything happens this go around. While on Late Night, Azealia sat down for an interview and also gave the audience a performance to remember. The performance and interview have been uploaded onto YouTube for future use.
During the performance of Metamorph Azealia wore an all black catsuit made of cotton. The outfit was designed by Target as Azealia's appearance on the show was sponsored by Target and the commercials that aired advertising the album were all by Target. Azealia's hair was done similar to Eartha Kitt's when she played Catwoman during this performance, a possible homage. The performance started with Azealia spinning around and wrapping her self up in the microphone's long chord. She then began to sing as the band behind her played, slowly unwrapping herself. The performance was very simplistic for Azealia's typical stuff. However, it did not disappoint anyone at all. In the middle of the performance, Azealia squatted down to get at the audience's level where she did a rap verse to the audience's surprise, considering Metamorph is all singing. The performance was truly something else and helped boost Metamorph's sales by more than double. When Azealia finished performing she got a standing ovation from everyone in the audience, many acknowledging the hard work that went into this performance.
After a quick commercial break advertising Metamorph, Azealia got called out to be interviewed where she waved at the clapping audience before sitting down. She wore the same hairstyle for the interview except she wore a short little green sun dress. A highlight of the interview was when Seth asked about Azealia's meaning of the Metamorph music video to which Azealia responded with "Well it's me changing my style and looks and personality throughout the video, right? I'm changing, evolving, and moving with the times. Going through a metamorphosis, in essence. I'm 'metamorph-ing' as I say in my song. It's a much deeper meaning than people think. It's not just me trying to be risky and get attention. There's much more than that." When Seth asked about what Janet is like in the studio Azealia said "Janet is a sweetheart. I love her dearly. I want to continue working with her. When we filmed the video Janet gave me so much advice that I have tucked in and saved forever. She's like a mom. She's great" The interview and performance are on YouTube so be sure to watch it. Also buy Metamorph today!

Azealia on Graham Norton

Azealia was in the UK earlier this week where she filmed for The Voice UK, Graham Norton, and other shows. Today, the filmed episode with Azealia Banks being interviewed and performing aired today, helping raise Metamorph significantly on iTunes making it rise up to the top iTunes position. Azealia promoted the performance and interview on the popular UK talk show on her Twitter where she tweeted to her millions of followers to be sure to watch Azealia's appearance on the show because they may or may not get new information about the album. Azealia did not reveal what exactly she would reveal or if she would reveal anything at all, really. However, one thing she did reveal was her high level intelligence to promote in such a way that got everyone watching due to Azealia's tweets that revealed nothing and only hinted that something might be revealed. Both the performance and interview were uploaded onto Azealia's VEVO account.
Azealia's performance on Graham Norton was truly something else in terms of clothing. Azealia wore a nude colored bodysuit with needles protruding out from it, paying homage to one of the scariest villains of all time *insert name, lol forgot name. but he has all the needles in his face. yeah that one* Azealia's whole outfit was done like this. No dancers were on stage with her, only the band. Azealia stood on a rotating platform throughout the performance where she spun slowly as she stood in an elaborate pose. The entire performance Azealia stood and held her microphone from above her and sang into it as she had one leg extended backwards and the other bent in front of her. Azealia had the whole audience oo'ing and ahh'ing as she looked frightening, interesting, and beautiful all at once. This particular performance of Metamorph has everyone talking at the moment. Metamorph, Graham Norton, and Azealia Banks all started trending on twitter after the airing of the performance.
After a hearty applause and a commercial break which advertised Metamorph, the show was back and ready to interview Azealia. When Graham said "Azealia Banks!" the audience all clapped as Azealia walked in an a peach colored Prada trouser suit, from their FW 1992 collection. A highlight of the interview between Azealia and Norton was when Norton asked what her favorite song off The Dying Stars is besides Metamorph. Azealia said the following "Wow this is hard. It's like picking your favorite child. It's not right! It's impossible! I am really enjoying Crystalline Displays at the moment. It's a really neat track. Something really different. I hope to release it one day, maybe for a re-release. If not then, then maybe I'll put it on another album and pull a Britney." Another highlight was when he asked about the theme of the upcoming video with Janet Jackson to which Azealia responded "Not everything needs a meaning, this is one of those. It's just a cute and fun video for anyone and everyone to enjoy. It's just a fun party song, that's what the point of the remix was, to be fun and cute. I think I accomplished that, definitely." Iggy Azalea Releases New Controversial Single, White Love

Title: White Love
Artist: Iggy Azalea
Writers: Amethyst Amelia Kelly, Ben Haggerty, Linda Perry
Producers: Quincy Jones, Michael Omartian, The Invisible Men
Genre: Rap, Hip-Hop, Pop, Gospel
Length: 5:11
Label: Schadenfreude Records
Iggy Azalea's year has been crazy after she's been accused of being a racist by angry black girl, Azalea Banks. While a few people agree to Banks' claims, most people think it's just her being mad because her first name is Iggy's last name. But in this new record, Iggy Azalea sets things straight. While most people will immediately think this song is about racism, it is not. "It is about white pride," the Beg For It flopmaker says. "We are all so focused on black people being oppressed but the truth is, us, white people, are being tormented too. People always think that we are so privileged when we are actually always prejudiced. Everyone thinks we're all brats and racists and self-entitled. And I'm here to set those things straight. White people need love too."
The song is co-written by Macklemore of Thrift Shop fame and Linda Perry and produced by We Are the World producers Quincy Jones and Michael Omartian with additional input by the Grammy-nominated trio The Invisible Men who also worked on Azalea's Work. The song can be described as an anthemic gospel song reminiscent of We Are the World and Same Love with spoken intro and outro from Azalea speaking her heart out.
The single is now available on iTunes to purchase.
