okay i'm listening now lol
it's fine. the lyrics are nice and heartfelt, the song itself is nothing out of the ordinary. i don't understand all of this promo/planned hype he's doing, it's really typical rather than the crazy/innovative stuff kanye likes to pull off. but i think he's trying to get that AOTY this time around hence paul and this carefully planned effort.
honest to god, anything involving paul mccartney just turns me off. i hope he doesn't get billing on the rihanna track. my fave's past two collabs have been out of pity and i hope this isn't another one i pray that the song is actually good
mess, i had to turn the song off. he was screeching

It's actually really good.
I have yet to fully read the book, but I think the film took liberties and tried to add more of an arc-like plot to it, for the sake of being a movie, but since I haven't completely read the book, don't hold me to that.
Either way, it's fantastic. Also, Angie overshadowed Winona entirely in every scene.

It's one of my favorite movies of all time, but actually saying that it's Angelina's best film with her best acting sounds wrong so I don't know.

I love Girl, Interrupted & her acting is great in it but Gia is by far my favourite and is imo her best performance. However there are a few movies of hers I've yet to watch so I'm not 100% on it.

this year was lying on my back, in a pool in rome on my lunch break
it was walking through glasgow late, treading the same loop of worn stones, hearing a busker sing royals and being sure i was dreaming
it was stumbling through paris at 5am, too time-twisted to sleep. it was creeping through palais de tokyo, trying not to wake up people in sleeping bags
it was the year of peering through windows into beautiful rooms, and realizing as the year slipped away that i was in that room now, not looking in
it was crying alone in hotels while the sun came up
it was the year of people talking trash, a hundred empty compliments. it was the year of genuine love
it was rushing in a car through the mexico dusk to a private plane, to a stage with some heroes on it
it was being rushed through the night in dozens of cars, sometimes lonely, or so, so happy
it was back entrances and superstars and hotel floors just for us
it was tumbling out of a party with a light-up floor in los angeles, the night my life changed
it was jumping off bully point
it was shucking scallops with my parents, and walking in the wilderness, watching water trickle down a cliff through succulents and ferns
it was driving through paris to a festival into brilliant green leaves all around, and videoing it on my phone
it was being pulled up on a stage in the desert, dancing, watching my friends and the lights
it was performing on that same stage, hearing the voices
it was all the stages we played, a hundred crowds, a thousand moments of reaching out, and how it was religion
it was the year of setting alarms for times i didn’t think imaginable, 3am, 4am. it was sleeping on command and jerking awake, upright
it was feeling like ****
it was feeling like pure heaven
it was the backs and sides and fronts of theatres, venues, streets, holding hands and kissing cheeks and talking for hours
it was loving you.
thank you for this, this year of my life. i’m gonna play it on a loop in my head forever. i’ll see you on the other side.

I got all kinds of emotional in Gia even when I shouldn't have been. She was fantastic.

Gold Digger was definitely bigger than E.T but not by much. Either way, that's a great receipt for future use. I mean 3.5m in 2005? Didn't know digital sales were already that good. Makes moo's We Belong Together sales even more embarrassing.

Also, Valerie was supposed to be white in the book. Then they cast WHOOPI GOLDBERG to play her.

sdflkbjkl @ you calling her Torch. Lisa was RUTHLESS.
But yeah! I didn't recognize her under all the prosthetics.
Lisa's best line was when she called Janet/Angela Bettis "fatso", cuz she was supposed to be anorexic.
