You are right. And you kind of represent GP which is important. It's also the reason why I knew THIS LOVE would flop like long long time ago.
But Taylor has a big advantage the other stars do NOT have, her flopped songs some times sell the albums to people like Dani

her pop songs sell more albums to GP.
For me THIS LOVE is my favorite because it represents the growth of Taylor as a woman: After SAD BEAUTIFUL TRAGIC, ALL TOO WELL and WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER, Taylor Swift grew up together with THIS LOVE and became closer to get true love and happiness.
As a whole whole project, 1989 represents the growth of Taylor as a musician, that's why it's such a huge success when most people predicted she would flop transitioning from country to pop.
