It's actually common in hip hop and r&b for urban stations to play multiple album tracks. It happens in pop too I suppose.

I think all the pinkprint tracks that are playing will help boost interest for consumers but more importantly show labels what songs to gravitate towards when it comes to future single choices that are already playing well on the radio before proper release.

I remember we used to have access to all songs to see the spins but so far Feelin myself and Truffle butter seems to be heading the pack.

Does anyone know what blocked Pink Friday from going #1 until February? Did it stay in the top 10 for it to hit #1.

It all depends on Taylor TBH. That and her promotion.

For instance,if she were performing at the people's choice award than she'd have a strong shot.


I'm not sure what promotion she'll have in Jan/Feb to overtake taylor before adele comes in.

I'd say a performance of feelin myself and flawless could do it but sam smith and other grammy winners might get a boost as well
