NATALIA KILLS FINALLY RELEASES “KO-MOTION WORLD TOUR” DVD, OFFICIALLY ENDS KO-MOTION ERA!

It seems like forever since Natalia released her debut album “Ko-Motion”. It was the birth of the woman that we have grown to love so much and earlier in the week, she announced that a DVD of the BIGGEST TOUR OF 2014, the “KO-MOTION WORLD TOUR” will be released when she stopped by The Real. Well, that kept her fans hanging and clenching for its release. Now, after a full week of promo, Natalia went to her social media and said
“Ko-Motion was the birth of me as an artiste, it was everything I was up until the point of recording the last song, it told my story…it was truly my memoirs and diaries opened up to you but as everything is, every era has to come to an end and with the release of this tour DVD which YOU ALL asked for, I am finally putting the Ko-Motion era to an end and now, you can stop asking. I look forward to the coming tour and I cannot wait to be back on the road with the new record. But until then, enjoy this tour DVD and remember that fresh tour dates would be announced sooner than later. Love you all so much and I hope you enjoy the DVD”

MuchMusic, Canada's music channel (their version of MTV) spun into the new 2015 with a big surprise -- announcing a guest appearance would be made from a huge msusic star. Justin Bieber was in the studio this afternoon for MuchMusic's first music countdown of the 2015 year; co-hosted by him himself + including a performance and a small interview. Bieber came after the first few videos were played, the main host announcing 'Okay! The surprise as we announced on Twitter and Facebook for those unaware, just before the show started was that Justin Bieber, the Canadian-born multi-platinum superstar was here today. Let's welcome him out!'. The star in addition to hosting, performed his new single 'Memphis' in an acoustic like performane during the end of the showing + along with showing a new sneak peek. The host introduced Justin, and gave us the rundown "So basically -- Justin is back! As we know, he's been one of the hugest artist in MuchMusic's Video Countdown history. To put this into perspective, he's one of the only 3 artists to ever have 5 Music Videos consecutively go #1 as he did during 'The Complete Dream' album. Hot Right Now, Turnt, My Everything, Showtime, and Fast Times each took a spot in the #1 space of the countdown, w/ the first 3 retiring. Justin's last video was 'Take Me To Your Heaven' which went #1 for 8 days. He's back here again, and at the end we'll receive a new sneak peek at the video to 'Memphis' as the audience applauded at the statistics and announcement of the upcoming video snippet. 'Thanks, it's an honor as a Canadian native I use to watch this countdown all the time as a teen. I would always call and vote my favorite videos, and I always wanted to get a video on here and to #1 one day. The fact I've actually done, and many times is just amazing'. The host proceeded to announce they would play 'Take Me To Your Heaven's video, and did so. As they returned a fan stood with the hosts microphone, and had won the chance to ask him a question. The fan began, 'Hi, my name is Kathy & I'm 14. I've been a fan ever since I heard 'Come & Get It'. It was just so...amazing. I love you so much. One of my favorite moments was when you had fans appear in the 'Showtime' music video. Will that ever happen again?' asked Kathy. 'Thanks for the continuous support, Kathy. I love you too. Um, as far as that -- if a concept comes up for an upcoming music video, involving a scene that requires fans I'm definitely calling y'all. Lemme tell my manager to remember you!' he said in a nice and funny tone. 'Speaking of the showtime video, let's play that now then play the #4 video of the day after' the host said, as the 'Showtime' music video proceeded. As they came back, Justin's time on the show continued -- the host asked some more questions, this time regarding the new album 'The Collection & More' to which Biebs answered with happiness and no hesitation. Then as a few more videos were played, he was asked to play a game with 1 fan. He selected 1 fan from the audience, and they had a trivia game where they would see if the fan knew more than Bieber about him. The questions asked were from 'Which direction worked on the ____ video?' to 'What city did you say 'was ****ing amazing' on Ellen 2 years ago?'. In the end, Justin and the fan tied both answering 4 questions correct. With that, they both announced the #1 video of the day. After the #1 video aired, they then said 'Give it up for JUSTIN BIEBER! Performing the new song, 'Memphis' with a video sneak peek coming directly after'. Justin was at a piano performing the song acoustically, thus being his first time performing it acoustically as a whole. Someone was at guitar, doing a light job -- while he focused on his vocals, and keeping the piano on key. At the end of the 'Memphis' performance, he got a standing ovation and even some roses and teddy bears thrown at him from the stage. He laughed and thanked the audience, as he said 'Now, I'm happy to premiere my new sneak peek of the new video for 'Memphis' coming next week!'. The snippet was 20 seconds, and what was actually seemed like to be a behind the scenes of the music video. Justin was talking to the camera and laughing, then got in a car as it drove into the sunset. He then was heard in the background saying, 'Memphis music video....we in here!'. The hosting, performing, and premiere gig on MuchMusic earned him the #1 trend on Canada's Twitter, among a considerable rise on their iTunes. Justin's new album containing the single, 'The Collection & More' is available at local retailers along with iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play. The album contains 20 past hit singles, and some new tracks including the hit 'Memphis' featuring Big Sean and 'Too Good to Lose' with Taylor Swift. Justin's gig on MuchMusic's Video Countdown earned the show 346,000 viewers, when you factor Canada's population being 10x smaller than US it's equivalent to over 3.46 million in US. This is the highest ratings for a MuchMusic Video Countdown in over 5 years, also beating his previous appearances on the show. Justin is scheduled to do another talk show in Canada this week, and is also scheduled to return back to Canada in coming weeks. There's also new rumors circulating regarding his tour, likely coming to Canada if happening.

Justin Bieber has always been known for genre dabbling, whether it dates to his new single leaning with Big Sean or the debut album with features from Flo Rida & Selena Gomez. The switch between Pop, R&B, and adding Rap in the features has worked well for the Hollywood star each era and we're thinking this new remix will do the same for him. Justin's always been involved in the music projects at a big extent, and the same was said for 'Memphis' when he talked about writing the song + getting Big Sean to fly down the next day, then drop a verse completely new on the track. The new official remix leading this single, now features the popular and 'it' rapper of the past year Juicy J. Whether he features on Urban hits such as I Don't Mind or some new Pop tracks, one thing has lead to another and now he's working on a JB song for the first time in his career. The remix took the single to a less serious and more Urban side (something that isn't new for Juicy J, and we're talking about either). Fans knew a remix had to be in the mix, as it's always done with most of his singles. There was just circulation and guesses as to who would be behind the remix, and who would be featured. The remix contains the same producer, Diplo, who worked on the original track, just with a new part including Juicy J. Justin talked on the remix just recently on Facebook writing, "So hey, check out my Soundcloud and hit up iTunes for the new REMIX of 'Memphis' feat. Big Sean & Juicy J. The song was re-worked a little on some verses, and Juicy J was asked to come and drop some verses. He provides some background throughout the song, and also gives his own little verse. It's a more Urban and fresh remix, and this is definitely making my playlist. Tune into one of the biggest Urban stations, V103 as they premiere the song in an hour too. It was really fun working on this remix, because one thing I always like doing is going back and re-working on something from a different angle. I hope you guys enjoy too!" Juicy J also spoke on the remix on REVOLT's blog, saying 'This is one of the hottest tracks of the year. Justin is a ****ing industry force, and his beats, production, and songs altogether always remain cold as ****. He asked me to be on this, and ofcourse I'm gonna be on a JB track. Y'know, being popular, you work with so many people, but there's still some you're just so surprised they wanna work with you. He was definitely one, it wasn't in the surprised way of the music not being similar. It was in the surprised way of an artist who's so big and takes their work so seriously. He's a fun guy, and we really did throw it down on this remix. Check it out if you haven't.' The remix is 4 minutes and 42 seconds long, and was just uploaded to iTunes. V103 is the radio station premiering it, among the top Urban stations the track is set for a good start on the format. Also to our knowledge, the remix is being sent for adds to Urban stations at midnight, and will hopefully give the song the boost into the radio further. 'Memphis' has found success on the radio similar to his previous singles, but his previous singles sometimes to suffer the breakthrough over to the Urban core audience. This remix, so far applauded by VIBE + V103 is hoping to give Justin some more luck over at Urban. The remix has also been played on Music Choice R&B, which has channels on cable that play audio tracks all day 24/7 with no interruptions. It's unknown whether Justin will have a performance of the remix with Big Sean & Juicy J + it'll receive some type of video, but for now the Beliebers have a little New Years gem to rock out to. This is following his promotional performance, along with interview on MuchMusic's Video Countdown earlier today in Canada. The song is available on iTunes, Soundcloud, and YouTube, and will be available on Spotify, Amazon, and other services at Midnight.

Azealia's BBC Special

The event everyone has been waiting for the past week has arrived. Azealia Banks has been near and far and crossed oceans throughout the past week all to promote her new single Metamorph, off of the upcoming album The Dying Stars. However, today is the day fans in the UK and US have been waiting for, the concert special on BBC. Although the concert is labeled as a BBC concert, it is also airing on ABC. Titled "Azealia: One Night Only" the event chronicles Azealia's stay in London as she recorded the album, showing exclusive behind the scenes clips, an interview with Anderson Cooper, and even performances of Metamorph and more songs at the legendary Palace Theatre in London. All performances for the songs were acapella. During the interview, Azealia Banks revealed more than ever before. Talking about her past history with her mother, their current relationship, and more. Not only that, you also get an exclusive look into Azealia and Junglepussy's issues and get to know all what started the now legendary beef between the two. The advertisement campaign for the special was like no other. The two hour event was advertised in 4 story tall billboards across London and across the English speaking world. In New York City, the Coca Cola Times Square was covered by a giant billboard advertising the special for the past week. Along with this, commercials have been played non stop on hundreds of channels that all gave a sneak peak into what was to come for the special.
The "one night only" portion of the title is advertising and emphasizing the aspect that Azealia performed Metamorph and other songs in the Palace Theatre in one night, the night after finishing the album. The entire building was closed off and no one was allowed in besides filming crew. All that was there was Azealia on stage, and the filming crew. No dancers, no producers. Just Azealia and the cameramen. At the beginning of the special you see Azealia walking into the theatre telling the camera crew about the beauty of it and the history behind it, making sure they know she's done her history on this place. Azealia then turns on the lights, steps on stage, and removes a long black trench coat. Underneath the trench coat was a Louis Vuitton pale pink lacy sheer dress. With multiple layers, the dress flowed and fully extenuated Azealia's bosom and curves. Azealia's hair was in a bun with pink flowers in it. You see her go up to the stage, the camera giving a back of the room view. Azealia then asks if the camera crew is ready. She then pushes play on the instrumental, runs up to the mic and begins to sing Metamorph into the vintage microphone as the camera began to zoom and tighten in on her face. The performance was truly emotional and you could see that in her face. During the middle of the song, Azealia stepped away from the mic to gather herself because the lyrics to the beautifully written song were truly getting to her. After apologizing, she returned. During the last chorus, the opening title began to show "AZEALIA: ONE NIGHT ONLY" in a bold white font across the screen.
After the Metamorph performance, Azealia was seen in a much more toned down outfit, sitting down to talk with Anderson Cooper. She wore a cream colored trouser suit with a pink blouse, all vintage Yves Saint Laurent. The two were inside Azealia's London apartment, sitting in floral cushion-y chairs, a very regal theme to the apartment. Anderson first asked Azealia "Why a house record?" to which she responded "Well. This is simple. House is my favorite genre out there because you can do so much with it. It brings joy and good feeling with the beat. However, you can put sad lyrics over it and still get the message across. It's a genre that you can fully manipulate and use to form your own genre around. House isn't a specific genre like R&B or Country. It's molding clay that you can build around and develop into something else. I don't consider this genre house more of a 'aero-house' record. My only genre, because house is molding clay." A highlight of the interview was Anderson's question about Azealia's current relationship with her mother to which he got a reply of "Our relationship is much better than before. I had so many issues with my mom and nowadays, we are at peace. We are one on the same earth." When asked about Junglepussy Azealia stated "I feel she used me. I love her music and she's such a talent. I feel that despite that, she used me for success. I don't like that. You need to be able to succeed on your own and be yourself, I feel that she felt she was incapable of that, however I knew she was fully capable. I've always known she was capable of anything. She is someone larger than life."
While looking behind the scenes we got to see exclusive footage of Azealia Banks in the making of an album that's to come in a little over a week. While seeing the making The Dying Stars, we got to see footage of Azealia talking to Metamorph producer Dusky and them finding a beat that would go perfect. Along with that, we got to see Azealia talking with rapper Childish Gambino. They were then seen in the recording studio as he was rapping and Azealia was singing. The name of the song he's on is title "Fly" Azealia said "This is definitely going on the record." The last performance we got to see before the end of the special was of Azealia performing Space Oddity in the empty theatre. She pushed play on the instrumental and closed her eyes as she sang in an eerie voice to the lyrics. Azealia then smiled to the camera and the special was over after it said "Buy Metamorph today. The Dying Stars 1.10.14"
The BBC/ABC special received critical acclaim and is expected to hit DVD shelves sometime in the near future. Entertainment Weekly called the event "A wonderful trip where we got to learn some new info on everyone's favorite rapper. Truly a good way to hype up the world for what is to come in the world of Azealia Banks" With over 15 million viewers worldwide, the event was a huge success. Sales for Metamorph went up tremendously after the event. Be sure to buy Metamorph today, for yourselves. Also pre-order The Dying Stars.

Azealia on The View

Azealia Banks, the rapper and singer on everyone's lips at the moment, has appeared on The View today to promote her upcoming album The Dying Stars, as well as give a killer performance of the hit song off of the album, Metamorph. The View promoted Azealia's appearance on the program more heavily than other stars and their appearances on the show. Due to her large fan base known for watching her every move, ABC knew they had to get this so they used every promotional opportunity to do that, promote. Commercials advertising Azealia's appearance on the program have been played constantly over the past week to ensure that everyone and their grandmother knew of Azealia's appearance on The View. The performance and the interview that took place were uploaded onto The View's YouTube channel where the performance has since gotten hundreds of thousands of views. In the interview with The View's ladies, Azealia was asked numerous personal questions such as "Why haven't you found a man yet?", "What did Junglepussy do that pushed you over the edge?", and "What brought you to the depression you were in that lead to you writing Metamorph?" all those questions and more were answered by Azealia during her interview.
Before being interviewed, Azealia gave a more than outstanding performance of her song Metamorph. During the performance, Azealia wore a black trouser suit designed by Prada made of cotton. Along with this, Azealia wore a white blouse underneath made of jersey. The pumps she wore were also Prada, black leather from the 2008 fall/winter collection. Azealia had her hair in a loose pony tail inspired by girls in the late 1970s. With little to no makeup, all Azealia had on was mascara and lip gloss. The look for the performance was very simple but the performance in general, was very intricate. On stage with Azealia was nothing at first. a blank stage, all black, walls and flooring. Azealia stood on a spinning circular platform with a microphone stand, with mic. She stood at the mic and looked blankly at the audience as she sang the lyrics of Metamorph into the mic as the audience watched. A door opened in the back and smoke poured out behind Azealia as she rotated and sang. What was behind her were people coming out like a fashion show except they were on a conveyor belt and they all looked blank faced into the audience. Each were in different positions, the first in a very down low on the floor position, crouched down. As each person passed, you saw them standing up more and more straight. Until the person at the end of the line stood fully erect. Each model was painted in glitter, wearing no clothes other than the glitter that was painted on them. At the end of the performance, the turn table stopped and Azealia was looking directly into the audience as she sung the last lines and the crowd went wild at the message. Azealia's message she was attempting to get across with the performance was our evolution as a person and as a society. With the models all painted the same and looking the same, it shows that you must evolve as a person, or go through a metamorphosis like Azealia has been singing about.
After the amazing performance, the crowd gave a standing ovation and there was a commercial break. Once the break was over, Azealia got to sit down and be interviewed, what everyone was waiting for. One particular highlight of the interview was when Azealia was asked about how she got to the particular state of depression she was in to write Metamorph. Azealia responded to this by saying "Hard work leads to stress and I had worked hard and lots of stress. My hard work wasn't being shown to the world how I wanted it to be and that made me so mad. So mad at everyone. Myself, my family, my label, my surroundings. I hated myself for such a long time because I could never make anyone happy and it really made me feel like I failure. Something no one should ever have to feel like. I then decided I would go to Ghana and I would learn. Learn about myself, about others, about society. But most of all, I would learn about myself, my spiritual self. I got to discover a new side of me I had never seen before. I was brought happiness, something I had not had in oh so long. That made me inspired. I felt I needed to tell everyone that you have to change. You need to grow and evolve through the times. Times may get tough, yes. But one day you will spread your wings and fly. Just always remember that, remember that your metamorphosis is coming and you don't need do treat every moment like it's forever. Live in the now and think about how great the future will be." The crowd clapped at this response and even gave a standing ovation to how emotional it was.
Another highlight of the interview was when Azealia was asked about why she doesn't have a man yet. Azealia responded to this by saying "I don't need a man, do I? I am my own person and women all around the world need to realize they are their own person. You don't need any man to qualify for greatness. You are amazing on your own and no one NEEDS a man in their life." Women in the audience all clapped at Azealia and yelled "yeah! **** my husband!" When asked about what got her and Junglepussy into such a beef, Azealia responded by saying "Well it's mostly due to the fact that I got tired of being pushed aside. I wanted to be able to get the attention and everything I deserve. I wasn't allowed that. However, now I am happy and I don't ant to talk about her and this 'beef' any longer"
The performance and interview were a huge success. Azealia got over ten million people to tune into The View today, season highs for the program. After the interview was over with, Azealia told everyone in the audience that they would take home a copy of Metamorph as well as the remixes EP. The audience went wild. During the commercial break, a commercial advertising Metamorph on iTunes came on as well as a separate commercial advertising The Dying Stars for pre-order. Be sure to buy Metamorph and pre-order The Dying Stars today.
