Auld Lang Syne is amazing for everyone who's parting but to those who aren't, take a gander to I Wish You Well. Perfect for forgetting everyone who hurt you last year. Tell them I wish you well in the new year.
"they have greatly oppressed me from youth, but they have not gained victory over me"
Imagine if she re-released the debut album for it's 25th anniversary and it had all the original songs, but with new arrangements, and a disc of the demo tape as well as outtakes and exclusive footage and revised artwork.

You're talking about "One More Try" there honey, which is a cover of the George Michael song.
Quote:
the song lyrically explores a young man's hesitancy to enter/revisit a new relationship because he had been emotionally hurt so many times previously. The song concludes with temptation taking over, and Michael ends by singing the title for the only time.
I love the way she sings it. Vulnerable chanteuse.
Also I re-re-re-re-re-re-re-rediscovered Fly Like A Bird today. I love the lyrics especially, and her vocals of course along with the choir. Hope she has a song like that one on her next album. Heavenly is nice, but not up to par imo.
