I was so tempted to get Bravely Default today but I'm so on the fence about it.

Both are amazing games and they're definitely worth it. BD has a great story line and perfect characters and the scenery is amazing. But if you're not into original jrpg styled gaming then it might not be for you. Bayonetta 1&2 is a great hack and slash game and the story might not be for everyone but I personally love it and the music that goes with it is definitely perfect. I think there's a Bayonetta demo in the e-shop if you want to try it out before buying it.

Have you ever played Final Fantasy 5? The job/battle system is basically that game (but with the Brave/Default system). And the story is a lot better (still not an AMAZING story, but a typical JRPG one).
I'd say play the demo but everyone says it's not really a good judge on the final game (and I kinda agree tbh).
You should definitely get Bayo1&2. The story might be on the extreme side and kind of hard to pick up on, but once you do its amazing. It's a niche game, but its soooo worth it.
Yeah, I'm gonna sell my 3DS. Smash was fun, but I don't see myself playing it for much longer. Especially with 2015 coming, and all the good PS4 and Wii U games will be more than enough for me.
I only bought like three 3DS games throughout the years I owned it anyway.
