Listen to she song, that is what she actually says. The official lyrics can say anything, but read these lyrics and then translate the official ones. Which one fits the english part of the song more?
She probably payed a spanish puta to write the original lyrics, then realized she didn't actually knew spanish and sang phonetically. Her team didn't have a single clue to what was she saying in the spanish bits, put the .mp3 in google translate and arsa que toma.
I can explain the spanish lyrics if you want "Mis canciones son de rabo ilusión" -> "My songs are from penis/tail illusions"
She write songs about being identified with the other sex, being a man (Jo Calderone). Rabo can also mean tail, so is this bit could also reference TFM. "Mi corazón me duele por mis genes y razón" -> "My hear hurts because of my genes and reason"
No matter what she wishes she was, she is still a girl physically and in mentality "On a wednesday, en el verano, en Agosto"
She wants to marry her girl in summer, which is a terrible idea tbh because she's going to make all the guests sweat, the calor is horrible in here and everyone is going to show up with sweated armpit marks in the pics. "I don't speak your language, chocho" -> "I don't speak your language, *****/lesbian lover/vagina"
In spanish, "chocho" is used as a way to mean the female reproductive system. Lesbian lovers can say "chocho" to eachother in a good way. She's telling her female lover that she can't speak the same language, but still loves her. "I don't speak your language, Jesucristo" -> "Jesuchrist"
I don't have a single clue why she has to bring the good sis Jesus in here, guess with the Judas controversy she didn't have enough. "In the mountains, las campanas están sonando" -> "In the mountains, the bells are making noises"
Is common for churches here to be placed in the higher place of the town, so if the town is located in a valley, the church would be in the mountain. When people marry, the bells jingle. They're going to marry. "Todos los chico/as y los chico/as se están besando" - > "All of the boys/girls and boys/girls are kissing"
Homosexual love has triumphed.
Cute story, isn't it?
Pretty sure that's not what all of it means, the first two especially.

My songs are of the revolution
My heart aches for my generation
If you love me, we can marry on the west coast
On a wednesday, in the summer, in August
And the second verse goes:
I will fight for, I have fought for how I love you
I have cried for, I will die for how I care
In the mountains the bells are sounding
And all the boys, and the boys are kissing
This video really makes me thirst for the "Americano" mariachi version we were promised. I really like "Americano" at the piano and with guitar, though.
"Americano" is the bop, though, and the lyrics are actually quite good in English. I'll admit that it's a grower, but I will not tolerate any shade of this song from actual Monsters.

I wish ARTPOP included J-Pop/EDM/Trap bops like this
This is like exactly the musical direction I want her to go in. No mainstream acts incorporate J-pop elements into their music, it would suit Gaga's voice and music perfectly and she has such a huge Japanese fanbase. I don't know why she hasn't gone in that direction yet.
