I think she got a bit lost and didn't have a clear vision so many things were half-hearted.
She's def. focusing on the music right now and I feel we will quite be surprised by the visuals. I can see her shoting a black and white video just her on the piano for a single for example.

I really want her to surprise us, but I don't want her to force tons of impressions upon the music and visuals of the era. Just let the music speak for itself and deliver it in the best way she knows how. But this time I definitely have faith in her and Bobby as well.

This was Troys idea tho and as you saw she just dropped it without saying a word
Don't think she was invested in it anyway but Troy wanted to push this tech based era.

That's true too. I mean I don't really blame her. I think initially it was a very good idea to have the app. But I honestly was only interested in it because I thought it would be a way to bridge the gap between the fans, her music, and technology in a way. But it really just seemed like a distraction to say the least. I guess we can't really fully judge her for it because it was incomplete. I'm all here for technology, but it definitely has to be meaningful.

The app could have been a great idea though if executed well...

I'd like her to pull a Drowned World Tour when she settles to have kids like Madonna did. Work on amazing music while pregnant, put it out after the birth of her first child, promote, make another record while pregnant again, have the second child, promote that and then go on tour for both albums.
That'll be in like 4 or 5 years though, I would hope at least.

I'm sure she will do something like that but I hope that will be LG6 and LG7 when she has kids.
I just feel like she really wants to deliver a great album with LG5 and do it HER way and then she'll have a baby.
With our luck she'll announce her pregnancy right after the first LG5 single and we won't get any more videos

I hope she saves the Diane Warren/Nile Rogers song for second single. Come back with a more energetic, upbeat song - hopefully a collab - then come in with the midtempo they wrote (I assume). I hope it's a midtempo ballad, ala RITD or SFTTR.

Yeah I hope she gets at least 1 more big era, then she can have as many babies, jazz albums and 80 second acting roles as she wants as long as she's back by 2020.
Oh god don't say that I really would fly over to to her Malibu house, break in and steal her hard drive, and leak any old demos to get us through. We better get at least 5 videos from the next era.

It wouldn't be smart for her to exhaust herself either touring extensively just for the sake of making money either. She does eventually need to rest. Although I do think that spacing the tours further towards the end of the eras like with BTW rather than touring through an era is smarter.

In my opninion if you're constantly touring you don't let the demand be big so that's probably why there has been such a difference between the PRISMATIC tour and the ArtRave.

If the album is quite intimate, I could see her making a statement by only doing 30 odd dates in smaller venues across the world. Very exclusive and personal.
They could do quite interesting things here like pot luck tickets for each show, so that all fans have the same chance to see her and pay the same price for it. They can't be resold, so it avoids resellers hiking up the prices that she'll never benefit from too.
Perhaps she keeps the shows venue a secret until the final moments - a Where's Fluffy? (anyone get that reference?) localised hype builder as fans and media try to work out where she's performing in their city.
They could involve social media and have a microsite to track this 'secret' tour. Maybe she posts clues across her profiles to help build up her presence again.
This could work spread throughout the promo tour to help hype everything up and bring back an air of mystery to her. It could be presented as Gaga's most personal tour ever, with chances to meet her etc.
The end result of this 'secret tour' would be that demand would be crazy, coverage would be there, people would hear about this different way of doing things, and in the process of applying for tickets they capture everyone's data (emails etc.) so they can contact them to push products and also calculate demand. Maybe they get a free song or something as added incentive.

It sound really good in theory, but I don't really think this would build any hype at all. Allot of people didn't even know she was on a huge word tour (or doing a show in their respective country). This would be very cool for her core fanbase though, but not the general public.

Could be cool for a b-side album. Kylie did an intimate tour for her b-sides if I remember rightly.

I find it a little hard to believe that people just " didn't know she was on a huge world tour" though To be fair, the artrave was no where near as massive as TMB or BTWB and it did fairly well. She skipped a lot of countries honestly, and even some states in the U.S.
I do agree though that those ideas are more targeted for the core fanbase, but that kind of innovative mindset is something that I hope Gaga and her team continues working towards.

Social media integration is something she needs to focus on. The app and LM.com have become an afterthought but she really can utilise the internet in a smarter way than she is right now to boost hype.
She had the right idea from that backstage GMA video from last year where she was going to shoot a MANiCURE and Sex Dreams video and get the fans to vote. That would have been a great idea and the public would know about the videos before they drop through Twitter trends and such.
