And this is exactly why the song underperformed
nobody is here to try to decipher the meaning of the "retweet" line, along with most of the song's lyrics. Donatella, on the other hand, doesn't have any difficult double entendrés and is easy to digest.
I'm not saying Gaga should dumb her lyrics down, but you don't see any of the recognized songwriters like Sia or Bonnie with those type of corny references.
