I'm getting really tired of the Charmbracelet hate. It's a good album. There isn't a single bad song on it. Sure her vocals sounded tired at places but overall it was a solid album. it was inspirational, empowering and even sexy at times. I'll take mature, grown Mariah (My Saving Grace, I Only Wanted, Yours) over childish kiddy bop Mariah (Obsessed/Touch My Body/Thirsty) any day.
The greatest MC injustice that happened in 2014 is not that the video for YDKWTD never saw the light of day nor we didn't get more singles from MIAMTEC, but that Queen not singing Born Is The King live in her Christmas concerts!
The setlist was a flop. It couldve been 1000x better. Maybe she was playing it safe?

Our opinions will always differ. I enjoy E=MC2 over most of her albums released after 2000. People think its weird, but oh well..
I really like Boy (I Need You). I heard the first few tracks of that album. It seemed kinda basic and trend-following, but it seemed like a pretty good album regardless

Charmbracelet is not trend following. Its a lot of things but that is not one of them
I added #1's & Emotions to my CD collection earlier, now all I need to get is Self Titled, Greatest Hits, Glitter, Charmbracelet, E=MC2 & Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel

Y'all need to stop doing the most on Charmbracelet. Not only is it very different sonically for Mariah but its also one of her most personal albums. MIAM is actually a sequel of Charmbracelet in some ways.

I remembered collecting Westlife and Linkin Park posters back in the day, jamming to Uptown Girl and rocking to Crawling but then We belong together came out, my life would never be the same anymore

I love Fourth of July too, it's like the sequel to Underneath The Stars. Listening to them together is the best. I usually listen to UTS first and then FOJ
