Because the allegations were ridiculous. The news reports for the trial reported that they were using magazine articles, including low-life ones from Star, to justify their cases, and even then, there was no evidence that her kids were being harmed.
But I do agree that her kids needed a more attentive and mentally sane parent at the time. She wasn't in the right state of mind at the time and needed to focus on herself before mothering her kids. That's all that I was trying to say; at no point did I say that she was done wrong or perfectly fine raising them at the time.
Now can we talk about something else?
