My goal for the end of the season is 8,000 posts which would put us at #9 in most successful tournament games of all time

Coming for Element's peak, Nait is already bowing down like a sheep

Sis we beat Element's peak over a week ago, where were you? We're approaching 3x season 5's posts, when will Nait, Huga, Tymps, and Prometheus?

Every breath you take, and every move you make
Every bond you break, every step you take
I'll be watching you
Me and my stalker boyfriend's wedding song.

I actually love that song. Stalker classic
Random Thot: I'm probably gonna redo my sig for New Years. I gotta add Nicki in there and I might add my insta along with my soundcloud

It's such a good song and the repetition throughout it is really effective.

The best songs are those that sound good in ANY genre no matter what.
One Moment In Time could totally be a reggae bop.
Hell, even Believe could be a ballad.

Ugh I can't wait for Katy at the Super Bowl tbh.
Her BTGOG performance at the Prismatic Tour gave me chills.
I can see her having longevity on her side.

You went to PWT?
I think she's gonna have longevity. She has that kind of career path where she never has a definitive peak and never gets overexposed, which opens a lot of doors for her.

Ofc I did, it was the best night of my life since The Stripped Tour back in 2003
I wholeheartedly agree. Katy seems to have a strong business mind and great intuition. I mean, that was proven when she stole her sister's vocal lessons Also, she's at a really great point in her career now because she has the ability to evolve into anything she wants. Something which Avril Lavigne has unfortunately failed to do.
Like even though Katy is extremely successful, I still don't feel like she's reached her peak yet (or the height of someone like Beyonce who has to be a certain type of person) which is great since that prevents people expecting her to exceed their far-fetched expectations and they cling onto that until you're buried half-deep in the gutter singing Jazz songs with this old guy and a pacemaker

nn @ the Gaga shade
I agree. I think Katy could go in a rock, dance, or urban route with her next record (knowing her she'll do all 3 lets be honest) and be successful with any of those. And with the Grammys and Super Bowl coming up this could be her biggest year yet even though it will be 2 years since her last release. And YES she's one of the smartest pop girls out there and will do what's best for her career.
PWT was the best night of my life also. I was SO close to her too, I have some great videos on my insta. She even flew her big balloons right above my head during Birthday

I don't know about the other seasons but with mine I just missed the 2014ers which were the biggest post-*****s plus I was 12 and my challenges sucked.

I don't really know how I'd describe my style because I like the play around with many different ones, but I definitely have the most fun writing dreamy songs.

Yeah, now that Midnight (former contestant) doesn't check this game anymore I'm the token depressed writer.
Yeah, I definitely have no problem with longer songs or weird structures, especially when they really expand on ideas. I think different structure work best with different types of writing/genres, like for instance with folk-y music that's very lyric-based it's totally okay to have like a million verses. My songs are very self-centered I admit, as I write to release emotion that I otherwise can't (besides trolling depressive posts around ATRL).
I was about to go on a big tangent about my musical style but let me not, only one or two other people actually write music.

What's that supposed to mean?
I think my style fits in the weird structure folk-y genre for the most part, except the stuff I post is more pop for the most part.

It wasn't shade, I just meant a lot of the people in this thread only write lyrics without music...

I think Tymps meant like actually writing melodies and stuff and not just lyrics
Edit: I see I was right, just slow
