You are not the one who sets the criteria of a civilized world, and free speech is a very general, unspecific term. Calling a gay man "a ***" could probably be seen as free speech in one's opinion, but you probably wouldn't agree with them. Being offended is something subjective and cannot be limited to one individual's point of view of what is offensive and what is not. So get off your high horse, Mr. Civilized, and know that not every body shares your Western-centric point of views, yet they could be just as civilized as you are, if not more. Making a movie about going back in time and killing Mohamed (PBUH) would only result in more animosity towards Muslims in Western countries, which is something that no person who believes in the concept of a "civilized world" would want.
