Limp Bizkit managed to sell over a million copies of their album in a week in 2000, and they have to be the worst band of all-time. *NSTINK was awful too, and they will likely forever hold the record for highest first week sales for ANY artist in American history.

Yeah, but back then albums actually used to sell because they were valuable. Nowadays, you can get free music in just a click of a button. Popular artists like Lady Gaga and Britney are flopping because they are putting out ****** music for the most part and are known as ****** artists by millions. What I'm trying to say is that it's still possible to sell a lot of albums if you're popular, have a good reputation, and are producing music that the masses enjoy. I mean, 1989 is going to end up selling just as much as In The Zone, which was released in 2003.
