Honestly, it went' from the top 3 songs to the lower half of the AP, they removed everything catchy and GP-friendly from that demo version with almost surgical precision. The final version is a bland comparison to what could have been.

They honestly destroyed almost every song after the iTunes Festival:
ARTPOP - Toned down the would-be iconic HEE-HEEs and made the song that much blander. Had to download a fan edit to get them back
MANiCURE - As you stated, although I must admit I first liked the album version a little better. Now I could see it going either way
Dope - IWBWY is honestly better how she sings it, even though the lyrics are better in Dope technically. The little additional melody she does in IWBWY (around when she sings "i hit the top of the staging") should have made it into Dope.
Jewels N Drugs - This was soooo much better at iTunes Festival. Why the HELL did they remove the breakdown. That was the only good part of the second half of the song. Now when Gaga's part is over I turn it off.
Aura - Yeah everyone knows the demo is better.
Sexxx Dreams - Goes without saying. The song was actually sexy before. Now it's cute I guess.
Idk what was up this era but some god awful choices were made from demo to final. We'd probably scream if we heard the other songs' demos because I bet there were terrible changes made to them too.
