Rushing out that All About That BMI rehash in the midst of its incredible popularity, and keeping the hype alive for another album track that's sure to do well once released, as well as making her the face of a multi-million dollar promotional campaign to keep her name in the public's minds.
They also know how to not rush her and are making her start out in theaters instead of placing her right into arenas like Iggy's team, and are creating a persona for her that will actually help her develop a fan demographic instead of just being around to release a couple of quick, catchy singles like Carly Rae.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised. She's terrible but the moves she and her team have played have been on point.

Gaga actually made me like pop music during TF/TFM. No idea how she could go from that to BTW and then ARTPOP. I already lost all expectations that she'll ever return to her old heights, but if she did it'd be more than welcomed.

Electro-pop acts NEVER find lasting careers in the U.S. Kylie could walk down the streets of any non-gay district in the country and remain completely unrecognized.

Just 'cause it was forgotten, that doesn't mean it wasn't a hit. Ask them to name general hit songs of 2012, and they'll probably only be able to name a handful, if that.
