I don't think any of the I&V shoot was meant to be the album cover. They were all meant to be individual single covers for each song when she had planned on ARTPOP being a visual album. Obviously that never went anywhere because Troy was against it and wanted the ARTPOP era to be as mainstream as possible

No. Trust me. The one with her with flowers on her face was meant to be the album cover at one point. I wouldn't troll about this like a year on

It doesn't really matter now though. All that matters is that she learnt from her lesson of wasting stunning photos and hopefully this time she does a slaying photoshoot for the album and doesn't deviate from it.

Does anyone know if Temple was meant to have an Indian feel to it like G.U.Y had an Egyptian feel to the beat because someone sent me (what they said) was an early demo of Temple (it was just a sitar being played over and over)

That was a fake demo that went around GGD and was proven fake in August. Trading circles were using it to scam people.

This is an honest question, but how does G.U.Y. have an Egyptian feel to it? I honestly don't hear it. If anything, I get a "futuristic take on ancient Greece" vibe from it. Kind of like a Venus Part 2. (Incidentally, I've always viewed it as a make counterpart to Venus' female themes.)

Like the start of it and the breakdown after the chorus for me has an Egyptian feel to it

You guys have got to listen to this rock/metal version of Applause. If this is what ha next album sounds like...

And I love Stache. Sure I wish the vocals and instrumental could be mixed by a professional rather than a fan, but it was a very creative way of getting fans excited and to give us a little gift. I just wish she had been included on it from the get go and that it would have been a promoted single from Clarity if it wasn't going to be included on ARTPOP. It definitely would have been a nice single to keep her name out there during the blackout.
