If you don't mind me asking, what are your reaches?
I think for UofM you have to show interest. So if you wanna go, I recommend doing any of these if you can: visit (get a tour, make sure you have your name put down somewhere lol), write an essay of interest and send it to UofM, do well in school & send your 1st/2nd quarter grades to compete against those with messy grades..

Also, they deferred a lot of people so don't be upset about it. I'm so thankful that I was accepted but I think they deferred so many to weed out those who got into their ED schools, because they obviously won't be attending UofM.
. Though I don't mind chem, I was glad to be done with math!
