Fergie Ferg is baaaaack everyone and she's coming harder than ever. Fergie's lyrics and Mustard's production are beyond perfect and overall the song has that laid-back party vibe and incredibly catchy melody that will be stuck in your head forever. I also loved the shout outs to all the cities Fergie mentions in the song.
4. TINASHE ft. SCHOOLBOY Q - 2 ON Aquarius // 21 January, 2014
I'm not easily impressed with new artists but damn you Tinashe. '2 On' was everything this year. This is the best we've got from Mustard so far and he's been involved in some pretty sick beats this year. Everything about '2 On' slays, and yeah, even Schoolboy's verse. I am definitely looking forward to mroe from Tinashe.
3. SHAKIRA ft. RIHANNA - CAN'T REMEMBER TO FORGET YOU Shakira // 13 January, 2014
Hottest collaboration released in 2014. I have never thought that my Bajan and Colombian Queens would work together, let all lone record this smash. What I love about it is that it has both that rock and Carribean vibe to it. Let's be real here - you can't really miss out on this Carribean perfection.
2. SHAKIRA - EMPIRE Shakira // 24 February, 2014
My favourite single from Shakira this year. It is so emotional in an epic way and this is the type of songs I love the most. Her vocals are om point, the lyrics are amazing as well and it is such an empowering song overall. I had some ideas about how the music video should've looked like but I was more than happy with the final product and the fact that this was chosen as a single.
The amount of sex in this video is just WOW. I love the fact that Bey doesn't feel afraid to express her sexuality even though she's a mother now. Great dnace moves and that chair scene is just iconic.
4. ARIANA GRANDE ft. THE WEEKND - LOVE ME HARDER My Everything // 30 September, 2014
I love the amtosphere in this one - really dark yet really beautiful. Ariana serves them looks yet one again and the chemistry between Ari and The Weeknd is mind-blowing.

2. LADY GAGA - G.U.Y. ARTPOP // 28 March, 2014
The entire ARTPOP film was such a mastepiece. I loved the songs used in it, I loved the fact that it was filmed at Hearst Castle which is such a breathtaking location. On the other hand, less BRAVO placements would've been great!

This cute 2:42-minute bop is my favourite single of 2014. Much better than 'Chasing the Sun', it had the potential to smash but Hil's team did pretty much nothing to make it happen. The chorus is ultra catchy and I love that bridge (I always love a good bridge.)

I'm pretty sure that if Hilary released her album this year, it would've been my #1 album but I'm saving its place for next year. 'Big Fat Lie' is the best album I've heard since Rihanna's 'Rated R' from 2009. It's really personal, dark, and it's full of R'n'B jams, which is something that I've wanted from Nicole for so long. Highlights include 'Electric Blue', 'First Time', 'Heartbreaker', and 'Bang'.
