Rosamund Pike was good. "Gone Girl" was not. Sad Caucasian TwiMoms are the demographic for "Fifty Shades of Grey." Strange how everyone in that "Shades" sex movie is ugly, though. Who wants to see ugly people have sex?

And Rosamund Pike was trying to do her very best Brenda Strong impression. She was clearly trying to sound like Mary Alice Young as she narrated in "Gone Girl." In any case, everything done in "Gone Girl" was already done in "Depserate Housewives" and done ten times better.
