This Is How We Do wasn't even Katy's first choice. She, her management, and all of her team at Capitol were
really pushing for Walking on Air but apparently the opposition convinced her TIHWD was the right choice.
Whatever. It was a streaming hit at least and we got a nice video out of it.
It actually did better than Birthday in most countries, but the promotion was horrible.
The entire era has been a mess since she released Unconditonally.
She's learning though. But her next album won't be sugary pop, that's for certain at this point.
