What is it like? I never really ventured there. ATRL was the first pop music forum I found and was active in.

I used to love it, but tonight, people blindly defended racism basically because of the Gaga/Azealia feud. They refuse to agree with Azealia at any cost.
Most users over there are privileged white kids. ATRL's demographic is far more wide and there are many more differing opinions, which is why I prefer it. I requested a GGD ban until March. I probably won't even go on there after that tbh.

I think whenever there's any one social platform dedicated solely to one person, there's going to be lots of delusion and mob behavior. This applies to anyone, but in the case of pop stars, the Beliebers, Directioners and Monsters unfortunately seem to be visible cases of this.
Also, I'm not saying that some Monsters can get incredibly creepy and cult-like in their behavior (no one on here, fortunately), but I am saying that if there's ever another celebrity killed by deranged fans like Selena or John Lennon, I'm extremely scared that it'll be Gaga.

I've been on GagaDaily since March 2010, and while I've always loved it, I've noticed that I've become much less active there since I became active here. Perhaps it's because I feel like more things happen here, or because the people here are funnier in my opinion, or because of some other reason - I can't say for sure. I do still visit it daily, but I just don't seem to post as much. Nevertheless, I still love it there and it has a special place in my heart because a major happening in my personal life can be directly linked to it.

GGD is full of the most delusional fans EVER!! Full of radio artpoppers and as we can see some of them have invaded this site

Been a long time since I came around, been a long time but I'm back in town...
See a lot's been happening, took a break from the forums and tbh it makes it easier to just enjoy the pop landscape like that, no competition, no drama, just listen to all the music that's put out and throw the ****** stuff out

I was there from March 2009 before they had the boards the way they have them now and everyone talked in comment streams under articles, it was the most insane time because every time she got photographed wearing something weird an influx if new people came in, almost weekly. The rise was insane, by the time the Paparazzi MV leaked it was always crashing with so many people! It built up and then Gaga was recognized as the biggest star and it slowly devolved into a Born Brave mess that was run by top-tier fans with access to Gaga and secret demos. I left after the BTWB finished in Australia. I go there rarely now, just for new release info and the kiiis when something hits the fan, like when Emma said Gaga doesn't consider you a fan if you care about ARTPOP's success/charting.
In some ways, Gaga falling from the apex of music success makes stanning for her sort of worthwhile again. She wants to rise like she did before; regardless of whether it happens she'll give this time a serious try.

I don't get what's confusing. She like Rihanna, Britney, and Selena, but they're not artists. Her statement wasn't an attack on them personally, just pointing out the fact that they don't write or really contribute to anything they put out. They're entertainers, not artists.

Because her attitude has nothing to do with it. She is a black woman speaking about racism, she has the right to be angry and sour. People don't listen unless people are angry and loud. Her "foul attitude" doesn't take away from the fact that what she is saying about Iggy and racism is right.
At the same time, you can still think that she is trash. Trashy people sometimes make completely valid points.
