This most recent set is pretty great, though. And I totally, 100% agree with you on Ellie. What made Ellie so great pre-Halcyon Days was that she cut out her own niche in the pop world and was her own artist. This EDM stuff she's been making lately, while still good, is nowhere near what she's capable of, and I really hope that this is not the path she's heading down for her career.

Their old stuff gives me life.

	#29 Lily Allen Plays: 227 2013: NA Entries in Hot 150: 3 After saying that she wanted to leave music, and had 2 babies, Lily Allen who was called Lily Rose Cooper for a while but changed back to Lily Allen is back with brand new music. She's still as polarising as ever, though it might seem her music isn't as acclaimed as before.

	#27 Sam Smith Plays: 250 2013: NA Entries in Hot 150: 3 This guy, just stunning. His voice is so rich and velvety and just amazing. It's ****ing eargasm to listen to him, especially in live performances.
	#26 St. Vincent Plays: 264 2013: NA Entries in Hot 150: 1 Peculiar discovery this year. She's so quirky and it's very interesting. Plus the music is good too, which makes her a pretty cool artist.

#25 Bombay Bicycle Club Plays: 266 2013: NA Entries in Hot 150: 2 They've had a couple of albums before though I've only listened to their recent one, which (I heard) is a lot more electronic and noisier than their usual fare. But I think that's great, since they dabble in Indian influences in their music.
#24 Foster the People Plays: 270 2013: #74 Entries in Hot 150: 2 I really really loved their debut album and I was so glad that they're back this year. Sadly I couldn't get into their new album as much as I would've liked, but they did serve some nice songs.
#23 Sara Bareilles Plays: 282 2013: #8 Entries in Hot 150: 0 Surprised that she's still so high even though her album is a year old and I Choose You had zero impact for me. I'm still very surprised she got an Album of the Year nod for this year's Grammy.
#22 BANKS Plays: 287 2013: NA Entries in Hot 150: 1 I swear BANKS looks like an emo Sara Bareilles SERIOUSLY. Anyways, ATRL has been talking about her a lot this year and I did try to listen to some of her songs. But I only got into her when Beggin For Thread came out and I loved her since then.
#21 Lea Michele Plays: 290 2013: NA Entries in Hot 150: 2 Yay Rachel Berry had her very own album this year. Though it wasn't successful in any way, I liked it and I love her as she's such an amazing singer and is not as annoying in real life.
