Streaming has become more institutionalized since her last album which is the best news for someone like Rihanna whose sales are not as strong as her streaming #'s.
Everything depends on the R8 lead single so I'm not going to predict anything until we hear it. This can easily be both RR 2.0 or LOUD 2.0 in terms of success.
No popstar would dare release something like Dark Horse. The whole cartoony theme is something only Katy would pull off which is why she is the music video maker of our generation. I'm glad she'll be rewarded with 2 billion views videos. Hope Firework gets there too after the bowl.
Speaking of Justin, he really did scar her for life after they split. Lord, I wanted to reach through the screen and give her a hug when she had to talk about it all in that Diane Sawyer special.
They were literally clones of the BSB, so I guess people just figured that we really didn't need another one. Also, their music was actually terrible. Their remembered songs, (a.k.a. Bye Bye Bye and possibly It's Gonna Be Me), are as good as they got. Otherwise, they were trash.
But they were HUGE in the U.S and BSB broke out there sooner too.
