Miley let Bangerz go to waste. I wonder if something happened with management/labels/producers. It made no sense for them to just give up after Adore You when they had so many potential singles on there.
I honestly think One Sweet Day's success is more due to Boys II Men than Mariah.
They're a non-entity now but their hits were major back in the 90s.
End of the Road and I'll Make Love to You were #1 for like 12-14 weeks each.
Insane how all of these get no airplay today. The 90s just ate up all of MOR/Adult Contemporary stuff.

I don't think Adore You should have been a single in the first place. Drive should have been released after Wrecking Ball followed by FU or SMS.

Honestly, that whole album could've been released as singles but Godley Cyrusus had to **** up and release another ~edgy~ video for Adore You. If she had released something beautiful like a wedding video or something after WCS & WB that would've been way more shocking and AY could've smashed and the Bangerz era could've continued. But no matter it's Platinum and I got my copy so it's all good

Drive would have gone top 3/#1 as the followup to Wrecking Ball
Actually, the 90's is kind of a lost decade. It has very few memorable musical moments. I blame R&B.
It's funny how it's constantly praised at the best decade by all those obnoxious teenagers who were 3 or 4 when the 90s ended because of its TV shows but the music is largely forgotten
