Ironically she started out with #2 selling 375 during black friday week 4 years ago. She was a new mainstream star and what got her to #1 was the promo TAYLOR did for superbass. Superbass and her album rose and she sold 43k since January was a low period for #1s based on no one releasing and that boost.
So Nicki owe's Taylor for Superbass happening and that shout out promo boosting her sales to get that low reaching #1 album peak
On the flip side Taylor has blocked her from her first #1 album and her supposed to be record breaking #1 hip hop album for a female.
While no other solo rap female has had 2 #1 albums on technicality Lauryn Hill had one with the Fugees and Foxy brown with the Firm (a collab) album alongside their own #1 albums.
Nicki's 3rd #1 would have crushed those technicalities and turned her achievement into actuality.
With Taylor slaying I'd be surprised if she can sneak in a number one album even during the dead period.

Not you acting like this is a challenge. All her team needs to do is ship 500k which won't be difficult.
Back in the 00s you just needed 250kish sold to ship 500k and 750kish to ship platinum to stores.
Now platinum might be the challenge but gold...nah.
