From what I understood. I think he was the previous relationship. Or he might have been the one she really loved but had to give up. She seemed to love the guy who rescued her a lot even thinking about him at the end. If we're gonna go with the comparison, the one she's at the party with is "SB", while the other guy was her previous relationship. Onika ha desire for complexity.
