Take a look at another example - Jennifer Lopez. Back in the day when Mariah was all over her case, bashing her left and right, all she did was sit pretty, ignore her insane rants and continue to stack millions. She never even acknowledged Mariah's existence until Mariah signed onto Idol and the whole thing started up again and everyone started asking her questions.
Beyonce had her fair share of shady moments with other artists, but nothing as intense as this Igloo/Skanks disaster. Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, and a handful of others who are mature, self-confident women would never stoop as low as to "drag" and insult their contemporaries through the press and social media.
All the others ones though - are sad, trashy, insecure brats.
