I listened to So Happy I Could Die this morning for the first time kn months and I honestly could not deal.
I never though I'd say this... I miss
that Gaga.
The one that made pop songs that had double meanings - that weren't shoehorned in like Applause.
That's why I love DWUW so much. It's her first song in a long time that married simple but effective pop writing with a surface message of sex, and an underlying tone aimed at the press and those that hate, not just on Gaga, but celebrities in general.
