Well it depends. For me it's easy to learn (I'm still taking classes as to always improve but I have no problem speaking it/understanding normal everyday conversations) because I watch loads of anime
. And I'm surrounded a lot by constant japanese media, but for someone who can't do that it's damn hard. The hardest part was learning the chinese characters, but yes the European languages are easier, especially if you know Spanish

Got hit with it the day after my semester ended. 
From my understanding, The Commons, although open to anyone, mainly consist of CRPs and ICPs rarely ever go to The Commons. 
If everything goes according to plan, I'll be able to apply next summer!
