I'm convinced ME would've been more well-liked if she had not included Break Free & Just a Little Bit of Your Heart on the album.

Those two songs, and especially their placements within the tracklist order, totally throw off the flow of the album and make it sound like she was all over the place recording, when in reality, for the other 90% of the tracks, she/her team were on point and knew what they wanted with the theme of the album.

JALBYH was commonly cited as the critics' least favorite album track, and Break Free is generic garbage (ngl, I jam to it nonetheless).

Break Free got good reviews from like everywhere. It's the majority of the rest of the album that's kind of an unremarkable snooze.
