I don't know what the intent was behind it, but I just find it annoying that people act so deeply inconvenienced about other people feeling offended by something just because they don't understand why. That doll resembles something with a deep racist history behind it -- sure, those boys may not have been aware and may possibly were just joking about how ridiculous the doll looked without knowing. That still doesn't negate the feelings of a person who may see that and feel offended even though their intent may not have been malicious and I don't understand why some work so hard to dismiss people that are offended.
