Nicki´s debut was really impressive. But you cant expect artists to sell much with their debuts these days. Iggy will never have that loyal urban fanbase.
Less than 200k in the US, flop with singles, floppage worldwide too (is already falling in some countries)... the fact we are in December and January is coming just make things even worse since the time she have to get good sales is now...

Except Gaga's situation was less about underperforming sales and more about the entire media being perched for her fall.
Nicki is fine. Selling about what was expected, singles performing fine, and most importantly, quality of music at its peak, critical acclaim included.
Production issues, pushback, and the album sales climate is absolutely terrible. I'm not really surprised.
I thought she'd do at least 200k, but honestly it is whatever. I got the masterpiece of an album that I wanted and it's clear that the era won't be over for awhile regardless of how much she sells.
She still is going to open up with the third biggest sales for a female rapper this decade (only behind herself, ha!) and, as long as she does 152,000, she'll outsell 6 other female rap albums' first weeks this decade combined.

Why are Nicki stans dragging TNC first week sales because of Fancy? I think Fancy started smashing AFTER the album was out and the song did sell the album so you can't really count it on the FW sales.
