I don't know what Terrence Malick's "Knight of Cups" is about, and frankly, I'm not interested enough to
care or find out. Can we all just pretend it doesn't exist while waiting for Malick's Fassbender film.
1989 has sold an estimated 44k in Germany.
Not even 70k with the third and fifth biggest markets in the world combined.
Like I said, she'll never truly be global.
Gagz was the last to achieve that.

oops that was supposed to be the other way around
Well I guess Katy isn't Global either since PRISM can't even go Gold in Japan

It's over 90k and she hasn't even toured there or visited since PRISM was released over a year ago.
It will be certified there. And with that. PRISM will be certified in every major market in the world and many many more smaller countries.
Too bad for some.
In April of 2013, I made some of the best and worst decisions of my life. As a kid that just turned 15 in my freshman year of high school, I was in a weird place. I went to a small private school in North Carolina with maybe 200 kids. It was very different from your typical high school experience that you see in movies and on television. Social standards were tough. You were in or you were out. For most of my freshman year up until the spring, I was out. I didn't play any sports; I took AP classes with 10 kids in a class, and lived a very excluded and lonely life.
I had almost 1,200 followers on Vine and I posted six-second video on HIV/AIDS, using a very offensive term ("***"). The next day, I went to school and I received so many responses as to how funny the video was. At this point, what I thought I had done wasn't just okay, but I thought it was funny. As a kid that just turned 15 from a private school, I was very sheltered from the real world. I didn't know the meaning behind what I was saying when I made the video.
As time went on, my audience began to grow. About a month later after posting the video (and many more), I had almost 2,500 followers. At that time I began to get some significant feedback from people that weren't just in my high school. I looked through my videos and saw hundreds of negative comments on the one I had posted bashing on HIV/AIDS and the gay community. At first, I didn't really understand how someone could have so much hate for me, but then I put myself in their shoes. I read more and more comments and even did research. I immediately deleted the video and changed my outlook on everything I had ever said and/or posted. A few days later, I completely deactivated all of my social media channels, mainly because I knew I had done something very evil, and partially because I also thought social media was a waste of time.
Towards the end of summer 2013 when school ended, I decided to re-download all of my social media channels and make videos again. The next day I woke up and had 9,000 followers. I did the same thing the next day and woke up with 54,000 followers. Next thing you know, I made a career out of it. Someone had the video I posted a year and a half ago on their phone and decided to re-post it. The video went viral. People thought the video was new, when in reality, it wasn't. I made two public apologies, but I was extremely crushed at this point. I had already understood the issue and to this day, regret it more than anything I have ever done. I began getting death threats, was called "homophobic" and a "hate monger," when in reality, it was the farthest thing from true. One of my first big YouTube videos was with four of my good friends at the time -- most of them gay. Many of my early Vines and collaborations were with gay people. I never once had a problem with someone's sexuality or sexual preference. If there is one thing I stand for in life, it is do whatever makes you happy.
I can't stress to you enough how far off the title "homophobic" is from my actual personality. I realize that I made a mistake. At the time I didn't, but I have learned from it. At the time, I was just a normal kid. I had 1,000 followers and I was the farthest thing from a role model and the person I consider myself to be today. From the bottom of my heart, I am truly sorry to each and every person I have ever offended.
We live in such an interesting social climate. People seem so anxious to perceive bigotry and blanket hatred in others.

Bruno didn't even sell out the TD Garden when he first performed there last year...and this was after Treasure was released
she should've just done two shows at the House of Blues if she thought her base grew so much from the last time she performed there
Discussion is over.
If you don't even know where Taylor has toured it's pointless.
She's toured both Germany AND France.
Plus she did tons of radio promo in both countries and performances for 1989 and Red and Speak Now.
tree of life was great not best of decade, but its a movie that stays with you and actually makes you think, whether in a negative way or positive way. and Brad Pitt gave a genuinely terrific performance in it. his best since 12 monkeys. and wow his career is kinda way better than Angie's lately in terms of quality, is it not? He's produced lots of well liked stuff (Selma is getting great early reviews) and has way more acclaimed movies than she does.

Hmm well its still be 5ever since then and Katy has toured this era so i lose and so does katy
12 Years a Slave is the #1 movie of this decade so far.
i personally didn't like it all that much
especially the "white savior" part...it was really really tacky and left an awful taste in my mouth
after all that **** i saw happen in the movie...Brad Pitt comes in rambles on while building about how slavery is wrong and within 10 minutes the character is free???
that entire pacing was horrible
The good thing about Taylor become a full-fledged popstar is that we never have to have those endless threads asking who's the biggest popstar in the world.

In any case, everyone in "Gone Girl" was terrible except for "Leftover's" Carrie Coon and Rosamund Pike, even though Pike essentially just photocopied Brenda Strong's diction as Mary Alice Young when she narrated her diary. Going into "Gone Girl" with very low expectations, I was pleasantly surprised by Coon and Pike. They were the only highlights of the film and deserve some type of recognition. Oscars? No. But definitely some Golden Globe and SAG noms.
And I'm kind of surprised I know nothing about Pike and her career, given how good she is.
After watching how captivating Rosamund Pike was in "Gone Girl," I was like, "Why don't I know you"?
P.S. It is absolutely unacceptable for a non-action, non-sci-fi, non-adventure,
non-war biopic, non-James Cameron film to be over 2 hours and 30 minutes.
...Vin
The movie's not as good as the book.
Weird but I'd seen so many Pike movies in theaters before GG. She was in the first Bond movie I ever saw in theaters. I also saw Pride & Prejudice, Fracture, Surrogates , An Education, Jack Reacher and The World's End in theaters. I liked her well enough before GG.

that whole thing with Brad left a bad taste in my mouth too- especially because the whole reason he was in it in the first place (he was not originally part of the cast, just exec producer) is because he was trying to get money to produce the film from studios and they wanted to be able to attach his face/name to the movie for advertising purposes. hollywood its racism not brad's fault though. the film probably wouldnt have been made without his help (as sad and wrong as that is), and i still think it was a great film overall.
