Same reason why they stopped reviewing Gaga. Their authors and individual articles about her keep showing affection towards her but they'd lose their ~indie/hipster cred.

you dont need to be a fantastic vocalist to deliver a good vocal performance on a track. Her vocals on 1989 work very well, especially the frantic yet monotonous chorus on out of the woods
