The critics love Rosario in this. They should have pushed her for Best Actress in a Comedy at the Globes.
Rolling Stone: Rock and the glorious Dawson (in her best screen role to date) strike sexy-silly vital sparks.
NY Times: Beat for beat, laugh for laugh, the wonderful Ms. Dawson fluidly keeps pace with Mr. Rock, whether their characters are arguing about multiculturalism or revisiting Andre’s career highs and hilarious, horrible lows
LA Times: One of the refreshing aspects of "Top Five" is the way the women are drawn. They are complex, rather than cliches. Chelsea's charm is thanks to Dawson's talent for blending smart and sophisticated with vulnerable and accessible.
Hitflix: Dawson is at her most vulnerable and appealing here. She's such a huge personality, such a strong physical presence. Rock has real chemistry with her, and they've got some scenes together that are playfully explicit in a way you rarely see in a mainstream comedy.
