But with other fan bases, that type of vitriol doesn't come from the vast majority. Nice Monsters like Retro and Meowster are very much a minority.
The victim complex is real, though. More people were rooting for her than not up until her album was offered on Amazon for 99 cents (whether that was something she wanted or not is irrelevant - it was still seen as disgustingly desperate). And then she released one of the most banal pop albums of all time (beaten only by Britney Jean) just last year and made it out to be her magnum opus when... in reality...
