The bright side on "no re-release" is that she sings her 'old' songs better. Also I'm all in for a BTGOG performance at the Grammys, a 1-2 punch (of great high-profile performances) would do wonders for her.

And if it was good, radio would pick it up like they did Pink's song, but I just don't know if the original will work at radio. The autotune on those background vocals kill such an excellent song. I don't know why she didn't do those parts in her pretty head voice. I honestly think she's still learning how to use her voice. The song sounded better live from the start, but it sounds a million times better live now.

She needs to perform BTGOG at the GRAMMYs so I can finally feel like stanning for ha is respectable.

About her head voice, she did the same with Unconditionally. I love how she saves the belts for the last chorus now. And of course she is still learning how to use her voice. Until one gets to Bey's level, you never stop. Most people neber reach her level ofc. She can work on her lower register now. the verses in Firework are still mediocre.

It could be early, but do you know if they're remixing (or planning to) her songs for the Superbowl?

She could use PWT versions but I'd rather some new ones.

I think she will release the last single at the Super Bowl. It will be WOA or LL and will feat someone else. Then, she will perform the last single-BTGOG at the Grammys a la Not like the movies-Teenage dream and will close the PRISM era. Then she will focus on tour and preparing the Album of the Year at Grammys 2017, released in 2016 Q1.

It's really a shame Birthday and TIHWD ruined the era, both should've never been released but there's no point discussing that anymore. At least I'm glad Katy wasn't the one who chose/forced TIHWD.

"Birthday" is a perfect pop song. I don't understand how people who like Teenage Dream (the album) don't like "Birthday." It's basically a more mature sounding (not lyrically--sounding--like it has live instruments) Teenage Dream single--like "Teenage Dream" meets "Last Friday Night," but the production and vocals are so much better. "Unconditionally" almost ended all of her built-up Prism hype, and "This Is How We Do" effectively killed the era. But this discussion has been had far too many times...
