A couple of months later, here we have Beyoncé performing on tour with her husband, and she premieres a remix to her song '***Flawless', that featured Nicki Minaj. After it got released, it was literally everywhere. The media was reporting it on all their websites, both artists were trending on Twitter for hours, and Beyoncé and Nicki just crashed the Internet.
During the time of it's release, Nicki had many things going for her. She had a collaboration with Jessie J and Ariana Grande, and it was played all the time on the radio (it actually peaked at #1 on Pop radio), and she broke the VEVO 24-Hour record with the release of Anaconda. Unlike Nicki, Beyoncé didn't have many things going for her at the time. Just the tour and a bunch of scandals involving her name and brand.
So ATRL. Do you think Nicki saved the 'BEYONCÉ' era? Did she add any hype, or anticipation for the era?
