I agree.
It's so annoying because people think that opinion=fact.
I have no problem arguing over people's opinions about business stuff, but if someone has an opinion on an album you can't change that, so why argue? Lol.
Some of her reviewers seem to have a fallacy that anytime she sings = pop music. A lot of times, she's singing on straight up hip hop tracks, or hip hop & r&b combo tracks.
I can't believe I finally have it. And I love it. Almost everything.
Sorry Willy, I want to say something about the genre. This is the most hip-hop driven album she has released so far. All Things Go is hip-hop, I Lied has hip-hop production but is more a R&B balled, The Crying Game is more hip-hop/R&B song. Get On Your Knees is electro-hop, trap and pop. Basically track 5-12 (50% of the album) are hip-hop songs (Trini Dem Girls is dancehall and pop too but still). Then the only real pop songs are The Night Is Still Young and Grand Piano. Pills N Potions and Bed Of Lies are a blend of hip-hop, R&B and pop. The three deluxe tracks are all hip-hop too.
Nicki also raps more than sings on it.
Her best album to date, by far. I always wish for that full hip-hop album but this definitely comes close and it's epic.
