Yet again, who said TPP is a pop album only? Im not saying the album hasnt pop in it, it has, but the album as a whole is a collective mix of hip hop, pop and R&B.
The only pop tracks on The Pinkprint are TNISY and GP. The rest is hip-hop with sometimes a R&B influence or a blend of those.
Rapping /= hip hop song.
Also pop doesnt mean it has to be a uptempo electronic dance song.
The Crying Game, Get On Your Knees, I Lied are pop/R&B songs. Pills N Potions, Bed of Lies along with TNISY and Grand Piano are pop songs. All Things go is R&B/hip hop.
TCG, GONYK, IL, PNP and BOL have rap verses, but they arent hip hop songs.
