Oscar is a better award. An Emmy is better than a Golden Globe. For some reason, people view the GG as like "the first Oscar event" except none of the people who vote are credible. It's just an excuse for celebs to get drunk and pat each other on the back. They've done better with shedding this image but it is still true.
I'd rather watch the Golden Globes over the Oscars anyday. The Academy Awards use the most ******** things to make it as untimely as possible (like all those musical filler performances).
