Also, she doesn't need to reach the highs of TFM to have the "hype" around her. After the ARTPOP fiasco, Her coming back with a successful album & singles will pretty much guarantee that she will have massive hype. Thats how it has always been in the industry.

Nowhere did I say that she will be as big as she was during TFM..& she doesnt need to be.

Look at Bey...she barely promoted her album & didnt get a single No.1....but she released a solid album when people thought she was DONE.

Ppl used to ridicule her after 4...maybe not to the extent to what Gaga is getting but still.

Thats how this industry works. All it takes is a successful 1st single & a solid album. Thats it.

ARTPOP was not a solid album. Its a good album, but when compared toTF/TFM & BTW, it falls short. Gaga did not move forward with the music...she remained stagnant. Critics trashed it, public opinion was influenced, her detractors caught on...& down the drain went the ARTPOP album.

Moreover, the era had a shaky start followed by tragic decisions, management issues etc. The era was basically a disaster & so was Gaga.

The album was destined to bomb hard from the get go. Of couse, part of the reason is Gaga, herself.

Anyways, my point being...Gaga isnt the first artist in history to greatly underperform after huge success & she wont be the last.

Many artists have been written off but they have comeback & slayed hard. Gaga can too, if she wants to.

But Ariana & all these new gurls never saw the kind of slayage & fame that Gaga had. They were never as big as her.

So, the standards for Gaga are different from Ariana etc.

Ariana didnt go from 16 million to 500K (or however much ME has sold) but Gaga did. She went from massive sales to disappointing sales.

Gaga is also comparatively a bigger star, still...so her underperformance is more noticed & therefore dragged harder. Simple.
