I don't know whether or not to predict Into The Woods. These old geezers and queers at the Academy love them some musical theater + it has Meryl.. but it didn't make SAG (though Meryl did). I can assume that not enough screeners were sent in and people voted on Meryl based on word of mouth but I dunno if that is an instinct I can trust. ITW has made ensemble at so many other places tho and got good nominations at the Globes.

I'd still count it in. The SAG don't have a perfect correlation with the Oscars anyway.

I think she still needs another precursor to say she's a lock for that 5th spot. But the fact that she got into Drama Actress at SAG and GG bodes well for her Oscar chances.

I'm definitely putting it over American Sniper. Inherent Vice looks like it is dead too. I'm predicting a similar success with Interstellar that Inception got so it is still in my predictions. I'm starting to question if Unbroken will even make Best Picture. Will probably all depend on box office at this point.

She's not winning. Aniston doesn't have enough to win. Being accepted and embraced by her peers is all that she really wants and hopefully it'll make her try harder for a real winner.
